They did just add a bunch of new weapons this season if you have Shadowkeep. New Vex Offensive weapons, Alter of Sorry weapons, Eris/Lecturn weapons, maybe a dungeon weapon (I haven't done that yet) etc. None of them are probably PVP meta, but there are a bunch of new guns with random rolls if you want variety.
They added new armor too.
I guess they could add more, but I don't see 30 new weapons that aren't PVP meta in a season as a lot better than say 20 new weapons like that.

Who gives a shit if it’s meta or not, people just want something new.

Offensive ones are reskins. Eris ones are guaranteed drops and are bad. We need more random drop stuff
