I used to love raiding in Destiny one and a bit in D2. But it seems the community of raiders has gotten worse every time a new raid comes out.
It’s fine to have your requirements that’s all great. Keep it. I’m not even talking about that.
What’s become extremely frustrating is the amount of times we ask for help, ask people to join and they either never reply or they ignore the invites. Yet their fine with doing it without telling you and all these other stuff.
When they’ve all done it they refuse to help. its beyond a joke now.
It saddens me that I feel like I’m never ever going to do raids in Destiny anymore because of how poorly people respond or not respond.
Frustration is just getting too much.
Anyone else feel the same way or not

1 RespuestaI ain't got izagami and shit that like, shit you want for raid dps yet I'm still kicking shit around and completing raids, why cant you
-
1 RespuestaBack in Year 2, I would do Last Wish every week when I could. But After ten clears I quit. I'm never touching that raid again. Stupid RNG.
-
1 RespuestaAbove 960? Check. Masterworked Izanagi? Check. Got mods? Check. Got emblem? ...AHH. Guess I'm not raiding then.
-
1 RespuestaTry not to send random invites to people, always message first. Random invites tend to irk me, especially if there's no message attached to them. Who are you and why are you inviting me? Obviously clanmates are mostly exempt from this but sometimes people are half afk doing stuff and zone out.

1 RespuestaI would like a blind Raid experience, but I have accepted that it will likely not happen.
-
2 RespuestasI dunno, I haven’t tried GOS yet, but I constantly see on LFG that groups are looking for players for any raid and say inexperienced is fine. I’ve completed 3 raids without knowing what to really do. Just be patient and you’ll find the right group.
-
2 RespuestasI play on all systems. I haven't done a Raid since Leviathan, so I'm down to learn some new ones. I'm good, reliable, available almost anytime, and have a friend (he is PS4 only though)who can come along. If you ever need 1 or 2, we're down.
-
6 RespuestasIt’s unclear how you’re trying to find groups.

1 Respuestai havent raided since spire of stars came out. the whole atmosphere of "requirements plus over mechanicked, and the damn revive token thing" just not a " fun" part of "gaming" to me.

Editado por Flame: 11/4/2019 2:36:16 PMIf you play on PC, join this discord and I’ll help you with raids brother. LFG ruins raid experiences a lot of the times, and it’s a shame it’s the reason why most of the community doesn’t want to partake in raids. https://discord.gg/csyKdNy

would be much better with matchmaking so people who want to play can just team up

one of the adding features is the challenge mode.. before this the expereinced raiders were raiding and eventually some average folks came in and raided with them, but now the over average raiders, are looking especially for doing certain challenges like flawless and certain subclasses, and this is basically awesome and great for those top tier players, but it also removes the little support for non-toptier guardians is moved to another level where they just cant use inexperienced raiders and we have no compensation for this.. the guided game system doesntwork since those who could populate this are sucked away towards the challenge section and new guardian cant gather at this point.. and to be honest those guardians also do not create lfg entries or if they do, those parties are well not suited to clear even the first section of the raid.. and even if thats easy to most of the peopel who raid.. and trivial to permanent raiders. its a flick off to first try tryers.. .. there needs to be an incetive to guide raids.. more than now .. a LOT more..

Editado por WulfPak666: 11/4/2019 12:23:20 PMMy friends just don't have consistent schedules and I'm not really too big on raiding anymore. The whole nonsense with double primary on Leviathan killed half my friends list that loved to raid and aside from grabbing a CP to farm an exotic, I pretty much haven't played a full raid run in a long time. LFG I usually a hit or miss. Sometimes I get a team that will handle a few wipes and tough I out even if we don't beat it. Others expect Flawless Raider gods and dip the moment one person dies. I'd rather spend 2 hours trying and failing so everyone (hopefully) understands the mechanics than waiting 2 hours in orbit because people keep dropping out. Last raid I ran was GoS and it was alright, but I haven't touched it since week 1.

2 RespuestasEditado por Kouz_MC: 11/4/2019 6:10:45 AMI’m 971 and still can’t find a team to play the raid despite having posted tens of messages. D1 was about friendship. D2 is largely about individualists. Proof: how do you recognize the typical selfish individualist who never helps or puts a damn flag down? He/she goes around with the charity emblem. There’s nothing more systematic in this game than that.

1 RespuestaRaid report is the issue. You're literally ranked on your clears which is totally stupid because I've managed to get the title for several these raids with about 15 to 20 clears. I have the shadow title but there's people that would raid report me on Crown and not have me in their team because of number of clears.

Editado por rZI3: 11/4/2019 12:07:05 AMOk! Attention much? yet there’s a perfectly good lfg to set your requirements yourself... right! You made the right choice

I like to think im in a good raiding clan. Could Complete 3 Gos raids in 3 hours. I sherpa when im asked to but dont like leading them because some of these mechanics can be hard or ppl just dont want to teach. I feel guided games needs a complete overhaul to allow sherpas to happen more frequently. If bungie wont give you the tools to allow to succeed they are failing you. Raids are a big part of Destiny. All we want is Loot in a loot based game and guided games is the answer.

I gave up raiding since like Leviathan. Maybe Last Wish on Console.

Raid with us!

1 RespuestaRevive system and lack of normal mode for people to learn raid. They just arent as fun any more. Even though I think gos is my favorite of them all.
-
Firstly thank you to the individuals who have shared some good thoughts and shared their comments. Thrones who only smart ass remarks and rude or negative had been muted.

2 RespuestasThe whole raid system in d2 is a step down from what it was in d1. In d1 we had as many revives as needed in normal mode. Getting rid of this fundamentally makes teaching new players who wanted to go in blind that much harder. Everyone with half a brain knows Bungie did this to force players to watch their favorite youtube channels for guides.
-
6 RespuestasI've played d1 and currently playing d2 and have never done a raid for this reason. You ask for help nobody wants to know you because you have no rading experience I've excepted I'll never raid.
-
You could always get good? Like seriously 90% of raid teams will kick you if you suck or dont even know the mechanics. The second option should never be the reason since they are guides on youtube. And if you cant aim in shoot in a destiny game, well thats just hilarious.
-
2 RespuestasRaiding in destiny 1 was fun but with a lot of annoyance and it seems the ''annoyance'' has increased in d2 which had lead to raiding being tedious. Im thinking all the people that were just happy to mess about and have a laugh in raids have given up themselves. Every raid iv done in D2 the team would wipe once and look for someone to kick causing this awkwardness and massive downtime looking for another person. Thats one reason i don't bother anymore but in general it kinda feels like the raid has just lost its fun factor.
