So basically, people who stopped liking raids after vog and crota, sucked, needed carried. Then when you actually had to do carry your weight, raids are too mechanical.
Got it.
As in every raid ,once you figure it out, it's pretty easy content.

I’ve ran every raid in under an hour. Including GoS. Can confirm.

These post make me laugh as if playing a video game is a real accomplishment. You sit on your butt and move your thumbs and wrist. The first time you figure out the puzzle you can have that " oh my" moment but that's it. Its the same thing every time after that. It's not a real sport, its not a real contest, its not true test, its entertainment. I totally get the entertainment value but don't make PVE something its not....a real contest of anything. PVP is only slightly more of a contest, something competitive, a real test, and I'm really reaching to say that.

Editado por Seth, Knower of Things: 10/28/2019 2:52:17 PMLol I love when people try to tell others how to feel about gaming. Let people get their sense of accomplishment from where ever makes them happy dude. My first run of GoS took roughly 5 hours so I feel pretty damn good about getting that under an hour. That shows a level of growth and experience towards that encounter. And it’s so easily measurable that it’s just a delight to see. After a while the luster of it dies down. As it would for people who play dark souls games over and over, but I quite enjoy feeling myself become better at a raid encounter. And if it makes others feel accomplished as well, what’s wrong with that?

Editado por RANGERX117: 10/28/2019 4:10:58 PMMy point is.....to each their own....but put it in perspective and don’t make it something it’s not. Life is a really big place.

Good for you. I’ve ran every raid other than gos under 30 minutes, and if we are counting lw wish wall times every raid under 20 minutes. My gos is 32 minutes, and full lw is console record (26:04). If someone told me “join up, we gonna do a raid. It’s gonna take an hour.” I’d tell them to go -blam!- themselves. Many of my first times doing a raid took less than 1 hour.

Do you want a medal? Better yet why are you flexing? Are you even being paid to play? If not then you shouldn't be so elitist on a video game
-
I’m flexing cuz this guy is trying to flex his piece of shit times. I know many people who are payed to play, and I help them out when they need help on a recov, but I don’t personally get payed to play, although I’ve been considering starting to do recovs

Editado por Seth, Knower of Things: 10/28/2019 3:51:00 PMLol if you want me to flex, Ill flex. Over 600 clears. 250 Sherpas. Was top 300 on raid report when forsaken launched. 3rd on fastest EoW boss kill with 3 mins 37 seconds. Done over 200 whisper/outbreak carries, most of which was me soloing it. All for free because I’m not greedy. Yes you can go fast likely with a premade team. Congregations. I actually help people. And personally, I think that makes me the better player in the end.
-
No. It makes you the better person, not the better player. I don’t run with pre-made teams, because all the pre-made teams moved to pc with cross save, and wow, you got a boss cp speedrun. What do you want, a medal? Consistently, in every raid (barring sos), the boss encounter is the easiest to speedrun. I personally can’t even imagine sherpaing, I don’t have the patience for it. I also don’t think it’s fun, but if you do then go for it.

When I say paid to play I mean like being able to live comfortably from pay off like esports tournaments and that. I don't think recovs fall into that category. That's just a bit of cash on the side. Personally I can't stand high tier players. I think they are unbearable and don't know how to have fun but I do also respect them because I know it's not easy to get noticed and you gotta put in so much time to train and stuff. I know a guy who is now homeless in his 40s because he put everything into games trying to be successful. It's such a huge risk

You sound elitist as fück
