You got to give cosmo and the other guy "forgot his name as he doesn't post much anymore" credit for not promising things they cannot deliver. If I knew nothing was going to happen then I would most likely reply with a generic BS response as well.
Let's be honest, they don't listen. Look at IB. Lame quest line, Same 3 maps, people get upset so Bungie tries to cover with a lie about it being intentional, however just to give the player base one last F U, they put in the very maps they took out as players hate them
We have to accept the game the way it is. I'm not saying we shouldn't voice our concerns/complaints, however it is what it is. Let the complaints fly but don't depend on Bungie to EVER make the right decision as they always have one last F U for the community.

Saying we will let the team know is not a promise of change, it’s saying that they will let the actual developers who don’t actually scour the forums know what we said.

Cozmo and "the other guy" are here to comb through the various threads for constructive feedback, and ensure it gets passed back to the design and/or development teams who are responsible for making changes. It is not their job to ensure anything gets done about it. Just that it gets passed along. After years of doing this I'm not surprised that they have a near generic response when they're going to pass feedback on. I assume that if they don't reply to a thread, the feedback is either not constructive, has already been raised (and shot down) previously or is something that is not feasible.

I'd say that the IB quest line shows that they do listen, and sometimes they do make improvements based on feedback. I got my 3 characters through the quest this week, one each day. In contrast I didn't even get one through the full quest last season because it was (my opinion here, yours and others may vary) absolutely ridiculous. I am not a fan of having the IB quest at all. However this one's [u][b]a lot[/b][/u] better than the last.
