So, like pretty much everyone else here I’m a day 1 D1 player to now, but that feeling is just...plain gone. No matter how much I try or hope it comes back I don’t think it ever will. I used to get home from work and turn on my system right away on Tuesday’s to knock out all 3 character milestones and love every bit of it. It NEVER felt like anything was a chore, I just enjoyed the weekly reset that much while crossing my fingers for a specific gun or gear drop. Granted, this was before my 1yr old was born and could play everyday. Lately, I’ve been quitting my play sessions very quick and switching to a different game because it just feels like “been there, done that...activity a million times”. My Shadowkeep excitement dwindled in less than a week. I can’t imagine I’m the only one. Who else used to play Destiny 1 & 2 religiously for the past 5yrs but is now slowly/finally coming to a halt? I’m going to keep playing to see if that magic sparks again but I find it less and less likely. 🤷‍♂️
