Getting to fabled is insane now
I’m a player who could pretty easily get to fabled with my fireteam and a bit of solo que prior to this update. Hell I’ve even been a few hundred points away from mythic.
But now? I started solo queuing in comp yesterday and you wanna know what experience I had when getting to fabled?
[spoiler]it took me 4 hours and I lost more than half my games.[/spoiler]
I will be dumbfounded if people still complain about getting to fabled with how easy it is. Seriously, if you’re afraid of comp but want the guns just do it, they’ve made it incredibly easy

Getting to fable was pretty easy but today I was like bungie flipped a switch. I losted nearly a 1000 points. Because I’m getting the worst teammates constantly! Guys who peak sniper lanes guys who use weapons they clearly aren’t familiar with etc. it’s gotta be on the matchmaking it’s unreal! It wasn’t like this yesterday if it was truest random then I would have a better win lost for the day but it isn’t. It’s so depressing

8 RespuestasYeah, crucible is pretty toxic rn. Me and my bud are mainly seeing 3 stack shotgun apes noodling across the map. It also doesn’t help that the neither system is working, as we have been put in against players who have reached fabled already while we are just barely heroic. I don’t know what changed, but last season’s comp had a little bit of variation between cheap stuff and decent weapons. (Should let you know I made it to mythic 2 last season)

6 RespuestasYeah... It's weird not losing Glory but games are WAY harder than normal for the first few ranks. Honestly I prefer the old system, it just needed tweaking. This isn't a true ranked playlist.

I had to switch back to my old armor to get high resilience again. Also on console the hand cannon and super nerfs where a bit too much. Hand cannons have hardly any range now. Supers happen less and are weaker. Even pulse rifles got a range nerf. Nothing feels good in comp. I may just not bother with comp till later in the season. Right now it is awful. Edit: I did make it to about 4000 glory today using mida and a shotgun. Playing solo. So it is not terrible. The supers suck now though. I stopped doing the solo only queue as well. Edit2: I quest it was only bad in the low levels. Once I got higher it wasn’t as bad. I just got to 5500 playing solo 99% of the time in the fire team queue. Then I played one more game and won and got the mida catalyst. Another season like this and I will have that unbroken title legit. (Unlike a lot of people that paid for it) Such a good feeling to accomplish that solo I used last word sniper for most of it.

2 RespuestasI don’t know what the deal is with me then. I’m not positive but I think I’ve played about 10 comp matches and lost all but 1. It is definitely not easier this to around for me. Prior to this update I could at least get close to fabled solo pretty easily, but now I’m getting matched against absolute sweats every single match. I keep seeing everybody saying how easy it is to hit fabled and that’s definitely not the case for me.

7 RespuestasAnnoying thing for me is it took me a long time to get Luna and had a real sense of frustration along the way but an overwhelming sense of achievement when i got it. Now its worthless. At least give us an emblem to say we got it the hard way.

6 RespuestasI had the opposite experience. Even though I lost most of my games early on, the new matchmaking realised that I'm not a lower glory player and tried to get me out of there as fast as possible.

20 RespuestasLast season me and a buddy hit fabled in 42 games. This season in the freelance mode I think I hit it in roughly 12. Earning 250+ for a win and losing 12 for a loss seems a bit cheap.

I had the opposite experience. I was struggling for the final push last season and within 3 days made it to Fabled in Shadowkeep. I actually paused and was like, that’s it? Got mountaintop/Luna’s

played 11 games so far in 2 days. 7 wins, 4 losses. On a 5 win streak. Hit 1618 glory already queueing solo. Shouldn't be hard for a regular player to hi 2100 I think. First time actually playing comp to earn glory in D2 (outside of the 25 games to get my Redrix) and dare say right now is the time to go for it. normally just a QP/IB player. I always say I'm average at my best in QP/IB.

Never been a fan of comp but played a game and had fun although my team lost and 1 guy quit. I hate that heavy spawns though. Heavy should be removed from comp, hell even supers y’all. Let it be straight tactics and gunplay

7 RespuestasI’m wondering where these so called easy games are? I used to make it to fabled fairly okay. It used to be a bit of a challenge but not ridiculous. Now.....I have played nothing but teams that have not forgotten. I’ve never had my account recovered or some crap like that. So this matchmaking clearly has me and my friends in the wrong spot because we have been road kill every game lol. Hell, we just get happy to win a couple rounds lmao! Oh well, I guess we will just get better from it.

In season 7 it was a bit more easier to win, I went from somewhere around 1,500 points to 2,100 points in about 7 hours or so I just barely got the recluse too lol, I slapped a minor spec on it and it'll shred anything that isn't a boss
