I never felt that Breakneck was particularly overpowered in any aspect, but upon using it in the new sandbox, I saw that the damage with each stack of rampage is noticably lower than before. This is most likely due to a combination of the rpm change and the decreased damage that rampage now does in PvE. Granted, this change doesn't take place in PvP, but I still feel that it wouldn't be particularly game breaking if Breakneck's rampage stacks performed the same as they did before. So far I've been enjoying Shadowkeep and look forward to all the new stuff Bungie will unveil this season!. Any feedback would be appreciated.

I too feel that the nerf is too much for a pinnacle the gun is basically a hazard of the cast and does not reward the time spent obtaining it

The Breakneck is not the pinnacle weapon its literally just a normal auto rifle now. Bungie you nerf and destroy weapons to make the Hand cannon crowd happy, You Suck in a big way you ruin your game. Stop nerfing weapons it makes the game so unbalanced its ridiculous.

25 RespuestasEditado por SHOCKWAVE 134: 10/4/2019 8:16:29 AMThe Breakneck was designed primarily for the beginner and young children. If you gain more confidence and skill try new weapons. In a couple years you lmight consider graduating up to a Titan if your confidence and skill improve enough to engage in endgame content. Approximately 90% of players fail to grasp this information.

2 RespuestasBungie NEVER reverse nerfs, they literally haven't done it once. Don't hold ya breath.

18 RespuestasIf you’re looking for a auto rifle to replace it with, Monte Carlo is looking rather nice. It has a perk that’ll stacks (up to 5x) to increase your damage up to 65%. Like swashbuckler you can get a melee kill to instantly get 5x and it gives ammo back on melee kill .. oh and it helps your melee cool down on kill as well (with a chance to instantly refresh your melee on kill) I’m not an auto guy but for those of you who are, definitely be on the look out for Monte Carlo.

1 RespuestaI've been using Breakneck and Recluse exclusively in PvE and Gambit since they announced the nerf and now in Shadowkeep and I dont really feel they've changed. They still melt as well as they used to and are really fun to use. Could be just me though.

2 RespuestasThis game has gone to shit. I hate it now. Weapons are useless now cause of nerfs
-
"We hear you, now we will remove rampage from breakneck entirely"
-
They got 65+ out of all of us to just -blam!- as too. It's crazy to do this all over again, the forge dont work, the guns stop being useful, the extra new stuff is making the game crash and some more. I thought the whole reason for PC user to get stuff first was to have things fix before it comes to console's. Suck weekend to be on destiny's and it wants to say Contracting bungie error message lol

When I tested earlier the fire rate capped at 600 rpm with the first stack of rampage. Subsequent kills resulted in less and lesser damage locked in at 600. Anyone see it differently?

5 RespuestasEditado por Smith5084: 10/4/2019 12:34:23 AMBungie seems determined to make vendor weapons as good as any other weapon in the game, which is dumb. The hardest activities in the game should reward the best gear, and the gear that comes from them should be so good that people that wouldn’t ordinarily do that activity feels obligated to give it a try. That’s how you get people to try new things in a game like this, and it’s the only reason that I started raiding in the first place back in D1. It’s also why I’ve had no motivation to raid in D2, which I did religiously in the early parts of D1. Other than cosmetic armor pieces or the occasional raid exotic, there’s no reason to do them other than just to say that you did. That’s now the case with the “ritual weapons”... Why would I spend hours grinding out quests for weapons that have perk rolls that aren’t any better than 1/4 of the weapons that are collecting dust in my vault? How many people that hate PVP ran the hell out of it over the last year because they wanted Luna’s Howl and Recluse? How many of those people are going to do it now in the pursuit of “Randy’s Throwing Knife”? 😂 All that the introduction of the “ritual weapons” accomplishes is to let people do what’s comfortable to them, without experiencing FOMO...

People who cry for nerfs are the root cause of destruction for every single game I've ever played. The lowest form of sum in the Universe.

Request denied. Use a rapid fire pulse with full auto instead.

6 RespuestasYou only have to play shadowkeep for a few hours to notice the reason why they nerfed primaries perks and damage. All to set up enemies to go into a finisher state. Very convenient that you can also buy new finishers hmmmmm

Editado por Combo164: 10/4/2019 6:23:08 PMBreakneck didn't need a damage nerf based on rpm and neither redrix. They were good weapons however they weren't "OP" pinnacle weapons. The changes to them were completely unnecessary.
-
Onslaught never should've been changed. Breakneck now fell farther behind other pve guns due to getting both its perks hit at once. They really need to learn how to adjust one perk at a time. Anyone can tell you that one you are trouble shooting any problem, that you always adjust one variable at time then let the system level out before making another adjustment. Otherwise you run the risk of over correcting. And bungie does the double whammy nerf alot. They need to stop these big changes every 3 or 4 months. And start to make small changes every month or 2.

Remove rampage nerf period!!!

2 RespuestasBreakneck was fine. Absolutely nothing wrong with it before the nerf.

12 RespuestasMy white Y3 Khovostov seems stronger than breakneck.
-
Just keep using recluse apparently

1 RespuestaI haven’t tested it out yet, but as big of a pain in the ass it was to get it better still be good.
-
1 RespuestaI’m sticking with blue guns they don’t nerf them
-
Yeah,...using Breakneck is now a detriment. Might as well remove it from the game fir all it's worth.
