You are not asking for a buff so I don’t see why people would complain.
You are not asking for a buff so I don’t see why people would complain.
Because people whine like b!tches when there is a level playing field. Everyone loves an edge. Look at the resistance to the eye mask and it’s over use.

Actually it's because seeing something minor be spammed like this is annoying. Not like OP mentions anything about longer default melee distance either. The time difference in melee delay is 0.2 second difference and would only be noticeable when constantly engaging in 1v1 melee fights

I play my fair share of each class
I play my fair share of each class
Me to. Which makes no sense to have one character (that has the same range now) as the rest of classes with a slower speed melee. All this emphasis on fair weapons and nerfing gun perks BUT no adjustment to eye mask and warlock buffs.

Honestly man I think this whole thing is just whining to whine. .2 second difference regardless of space for melee doesn't do much when you back peddle in PvP. I personally love attunement of sky because of how fun it is to throw people off with the air dodge constantly back peddling to bait the melee. In PvE I have never thought to myself that I wanted to melee faster.

Or it doesn't? If there is lag and peer to peer connection running against you you're gonna lose that melee fight anyway But melees miss too and it feels like it's connected to how fast you melee back to back. Pair that up with multiple reports of people claiming that warlocks have good tracking melee. I would argue that warlocks rn have a better melee in a natural game. In a perfect game with equally skilled players sure maybe warlocks have the disadvantage but in a normal one I would disagree

Not shoulder / handheld. But normal melee wise? Makes no sense to nerf its range and then it’s speed. Class balance not BS.

I don't think it's intentional. Seems more like titans and hunters have a whiff animation if enemies are out of range but warlocks don't really have that

Boi hunter melee misses so much
