Steam pre-load
I purchased Shadowkeep on Steam and completed the Pre-load. The pre-load is 85GB, obviously not the entire game + Shadowkeep. When I try to install the free pre-load for the base game nothing happens and I’m told I already own Destiny 2. Is the 85GB pre-load going to include the whole game or is there some problem here? I’m not transferring from BNet. I have an Xbox account for Destiny 2, Steam will be the first PC purchase and I’ll add my Xbox profile to cross save with it when I’m able. So basically I’m asking: do I need to have some other download available to have the entire game when Shadowkeep launches or is the Shadowkeep pre-load the entire thing?

2 RespuestasThus far, the preload you installed through Steam is everything that is needed. More than likely we will see a patch either the day before, or day of, the full release. Keep in mind that they may have optimized files when doing the build for Shadowkeep and New Light, so they file size may differ from what we currently have with the existing build.
