PvP with Bottom Stryker + OEM cheese is unbearable
I’ve been questioning my time on destiny lately and the absent reaction time of the Devs (still love you guys) is incredibly slow and or non existent to the broken mess that are Titans right now. It finally hit me with how every match is dominated by the following:
1.) 5 super mods
2.) Bottom Tree Strykers
3.) OEM on every Titan
Why has this lasted so long? OEM doesn’t seem to be getting a nerf in Shadowkeep, Bottom Tree Stryker is still keeping it’s broken health regen and super energy buff on kills - what is going on guys? I’m on PC so certain things are incredibly strong right now. You can’t even have a gunfight after the first few minutes without super chaining and strykers lasting minutes if they’re good. Lord of Wolves is still the easiest weapon to secure kills with in the game and The Recluse on PC is insane once the perk is active (not hard to do BTW).
There has got to be some upkeep with this game on the Crucible/sandbox teams side and it’s basically next to nothing. I apologize for the salt but when are you guys going to start reacting on these issues in an appropriate time frame?

The crazy fûckers at the balancing department missed the memo about needing to buff other exotics inline with the mask or change the broken 3:1 OP mask. It’s insane it’s not been addressed .

Also, auto rifles will get a 0.04% nerf because people are starting to use them over hand cannons again. 18 RespuestasSimple answer. It has a skin for sale for silver only, the ugliest helmet in the game, all titans use it and all look the same. Wanna look a little different? Just drop 10 over here Not only is it still really good after a nerf, but xurs sold it 3 times, first with HC targeting, then with pulse targeting, then with pulse and enhanced HC targeting. And you guys think eververse is just cosmetic and doesn't affect gameplay

10 RespuestasFrankly, in my quite limited opinion, Bungie has not once been able to properly balance Destiny 2. The PvP for this game over the last two years has been atrocious, to the point of being nigh unplayable. I wouldn’t expect them to magically fix the problems they created, considering their track record.

6 RespuestasMeh it's the same old whining going on destiny 2. Every one hated warlocks with skull of ahamkara and nova bomb back in the osiris days so bungie nerfed them. Then people complained about wormhusk, spectral blades, and blade barrage, so bungie nerfed them..slightly. Now everyone hates on OEM bottom tree Titans, so bungie will be slightly nerfing roaming supers and you will br more vulnerable. But nothing will change.....people will still find things to complain about. Is OEM annoying? Yes! But its not impossible to beat.

It can be beaten. Step 1 - 5 super mods Step 2 - chest of inmost light exotic Step 3 - spam barricades to increase super regen Step 4 - use middle tree arc titan. Step 5 - have your super at the ready 1st and wait for there cheesy roaming supers. Step 6 - shut em down in spectacular style and impress your rando team with your insane clutch.

1 RespuestaOEM is fine as is the reason why it’s used so much is because all other titan exotics are trash, gimmicky or only involve melee usage which will get you killed more times than not in this shotgun fusion rifle meta. As far as bottom tree striker is concerned the only nerf I’d give it is that it’s super replenishing capability gets capped out after 4 kills, making it harder to go on an absolute rampage. This would keep the super good yet balanced. (It’s what they did to it in PvE)

I totally agree with you when they realise new super everyone was crying about new void hunter super got nerfed almost immediately but striker noooo is super balanced and good how it’s same as bottom tree solar warlock non super should be awarded by super energy on kill in my opinion I’m sick of running away from supers in PvP I like challenge them but still when I managed hit roaming super in head by my sniper he is still alive and I’m like “YOU SHOULD BE DEAD!!!”

19 RespuestasSo many huntards. Hunter has golden gun, blade barrage and teather. All 3 of those supers totally destroy any other super in the game. Plus before you huntards go -blam!- about Titans only good roaming super you guys have blade dancer which makes any other roaming super look pathetic. So stfu!

Editado por Wraith: 9/26/2019 1:50:35 AMMy buddy is a titan main that religiously used OEM and bottom tree striker and I always wondered how he was doing so well in this game when I returned after a long break, his kda was at a 1.4 before I had left the game. I would always do consistently better than him since the launch of d1 even being ranked in the top 1 % for both control and for rumble. My kd in d1 was something like a 1.5. In d2 my kda was at around 1.76 before I had left the game. When I returned my friend had somehow managed to bring his kda all the way up to a 1.64 and every game I played he seemed to be doing better than me no matter what I did as a hunter. I was very confused because I had always been quiet a bit more skilled then him but he was always coming on top of the leader board this is when I realized what all the perks he had on one single exotic and he was consistently using bottom tree striker. This is when I decided to level up my old titan I had made in d1 and join him to see what it was all about... all of a sudden we would start chaining supers off of each other and run around with over shields the whole game... needless to say we went on a 25 win streak... this is not okay.

5 RespuestasAgreed. It's frackin irritating that victory tilts in the favor of the team with more Striker Titans. Not that they win every match but all one has to do is rotate the supers and suddenly you have a substantial lead. Hunters and my fellow Warlocks: just equip Blade Barrage and Nova Bomb till this mess gets sorted.
