Nonsense. Fallout 76 is just a bad game. Bethesda has been getting away with this for years. Making games on an utterly obsolete game engine, because fans of the series were letting them get away with it. Mainly because they loved the "stories" so much that they failed to notice that the actual gameplay sucked. But Fallout 76 did away with those stories...so all that was left was the incredibly bad gameplay that had always been there. Anthem is just a failure of leadership. Failure and Greed on EA's part in forcing BioWare to use an game engine (Frostbite) that was completely unsuited to the intended purpose on not one but TWO games (MEA and Anthem)....and then ABANDONING BioWare to their own devices when they ran into trouble with it. EA used the available resources to troubleshoot the engine to help their own EA Sports games...and left BioWare to twist in the wind. But there was also a failure of leadership within BioWare. IN both MEA and Anthem, team leaders were unwilling to lead....and unwilling to take responsibility for anything. So Most of Anthem's development time was wasted. The game that was released was basically cobbled together in an effrot that was almost beyond human endurance in about 18 months. ...and it showed. Anthem has an amazing game play loop. Every bit as good as Destiny's in its own way. The problem is that (like No Mans' Sky) the game was so rushed, that it has major design flaws. The loot system was broken at the time of release.....and "Freeplay" (their open world play) is just a broken concept. Where they release 4 players into a playable space bigger than all the playable spaces in Destiny 2....and hope that they manage to find each other....and stumble into some sort of public event. Freeplay needs to be burned to the ground and rebuilt from teh ground up. Fallout 76 is always going to be a crap game. Anthem, OTOH, is about 6-12 months away from really being a GOOD game. BioWare gave that game's community a glimpse of the future with Cataclysm.....and it was impressive.

From what I know about Fallout 76, I can tell you it isn’t like Destiny. It’s an open world pvp game with more similarities to GTA Online. It failed because it was bad, not because it tried to copy Destiny. And Anthem is more akin to Warframe than Destiny.

Honestly 76 had a terrible start BUT if you play in now it is actually really good. It's the only I enjoy playing. I think people judge on what it was when it was released before it was ready but they actually have a solid game now

Fallout 76 is shit because it was a lazy and poorly made cash grab attempt by Bethesda and had some of the [i] worst [/i] post-game launch support I have ever seen. Modders could make a better Fallout 76 than Bethesda and with better content too. Anthem is shit because anything EA puts their hands on is doomed to fail. This game is probably the last we'll see of Bioware since future game content for Anthem has been cancelled.
