Legend boosting lobbies
I’ve seen YouTube videos on people setting up boosting lobbies and getting to legend. 1 win every minute or so, bit of a joke really considering people’s efforts.
Are bungie aware ?
Are people getting banned ?

Btw if you use this method and you love this game, Your actively destroying it at the same time and you will still be bad at pvp no matter what the gun.

2 RespuestasThey just need to make every pinnacle quest like the Revoker. That way the best players can get it in a few days, average players will take a few weeks, and the worst players can get it over the course of a season. For achievements like legend the reward should be purely cosmetic. People who are that good deserve something to show for it, but it should not be a meta breaking weapon.

Bungie are slowly but surely banning these people (see help forums to see all the cry babies) You can look players up during games on destiny tracker and just report them with screenshot via https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Troubleshoot?oid=13967

1 RespuestaThat’s ridiculously scummy that they are cheating to get arguably the best hand cannon on console. I worked for lunas and it payed off. People who got nf legit EARNED the weapon and here we have cheaters getting the gun for free.

It has been going on for very long. I tried reporting a lot of people but that doesn't help because they use fake accounts for ads. I was once invited to a Discord server (through a clan ad on LFG) which had a paid Glory boosting section where there were people with their actual gamer tags and I reported them as well. I don't know anything happened to them or not. Most likely not, because some of them are still playing and some are even on this forum. These are the kind of people who are most likely to be asking others to [i]git gud[/i] or saying things like [i]mad cos bad[/i], etc. So whenever people are saying things like this on forums and they are attacking others' stats, etc, I know that most likely they are same kind of people. Other than Glory boosting, there are KD boosting lobbies as well. So sometimes you might find someone having 2.5 overall KD but still getting smoked by much lower KD players.

It’s a joke, people acting like it’s ok cos they’re not affecting other people even though they’re getting arguably the best gun in the game for cheating!! I grinded my ass off just to get Luna so it must be annoying for people who put legit grind in for NF

No one has gotten banned from cheesing PvP. It's not against Bungie ToS, so they have no reason to.

It might not technically be cheating because they are using in game mechanics ( as opposed to Ddos or lag switch). More of an exploit, Bungie has stated in the past they do NOT usually punish people that take advantage of exploits, i think they have made the odd exception, hoping they take action here, it shouldn’t be hard to identify the culprits

4 RespuestasI'm not sure they're doing that much wrong, seeing as though they just back out of matchmaking at the right time, seems like it's an exploit that Bungie should hotfix, if they were bothered. They could make it so you can't see the Search/Evaluating info or something pretty easily as a temporary fix. If they can't get NF legit they'll still be bad at the game even with it.

I had make a post here twitter etc about that and ALL the replyS was "is legit" "they don't exploit the game" "it's OK they don't mess with other players" And I was WTF ?!?!?!??! Really that's the majority of the community?they think that is OK to do that? So all the others that they put so much effort to get the ranks and the guns are idiots and the others are smart. They got guns ranks and titles with exploit in hours. Gg community and gg bungie.

As scummy as it is, I’d prefer this happening than at someone’s expense. This way isn’t really hurting anyone but when it’s a ddos or a some other form of cheating then that’s 100% not ok.
