caydes return can happen
People say cayde can’t return at all but there’s alot of ways he can for starters the deep stone crypt which we could revive him from the crypt hopefully.With his memory intact if not we still have those pages from his journal to get his memory regained.
Next theory perhaps a taken cayde which could happen through wish 15 as it has not been found yet.the reason it could be cayde because of what the line says in the archive for it.this one you shall cherish- riven of a thousand voices probably going to have to help him regain his exo form or we could get just our normal cayde back but who knows from that.
next way is Sundance being revived from the warlock aunor She has the fragments of her shell and has had them for a very long time she was also angry with the events of the prison so could she be trying to bring Sundance back keeping things quiet till the right time to tell our guardian.
or Anna bray or Elsie bray helps us bring him back on mars or the crypt those are a few ways along with hints in ace in the hole mission. and in the lore and on armor pieces ^^ I do believe he will return been thinking he will since first forsaken tease at e3

1 Respuestareasons why this can't work. 1. the deep stone crypt can't revive cayde. (being shut down for years) 2. wish 15 is to end the dreaming city curce. 3. if a ghost is broken(or shot in caydes case) it cannot be fixed. 4. Anna is connected to the making of exos but #1 5. elsie (the exo stranger) is not a guardian and is doing who knows what in the past/future. he could come back as a nightmare in shadowkeep. if you have anymore please tell me.

It's not like he received a headahot destroying his brain/mind. Yes, he wouldn't be a guardian anymore because he lost his light (his Ghost was killed) but yeah, he would still be Cayde, I guess?

76 Respuestas[let me explain how none of this is possible in the most respectful way I can. 1: an Exo is literally a human mind in a robotic carriage, and you can’t just create a “back up” of a human brain, especially if you have to reset it every now and again. 2: all evidence available says being of light/former being of light, such as guardians, ghosts, and guardians who lost their light connection, cannot be taken. Also to be taken the subject has to be living. 3: Sundance wasn’t reduced to your standard dead ghost, she was literally shot through the eye which caused her to explode. This means you can’t revive her, and therefore revive cayde. 4: look back to the exo brain comment I made previously. If you have another theory I could likely explain how it either isn’t possible or just so unrealistic it probably won’t happen. Sorry to bust your world in.]

2 Respuestas1. Cayde is gone. 2. You have to be alive to be Taken. 3. Once a Ghost is killed it's gone. 4. Yes there might be save data somewhere contain Cayde but not the Guardian Cayde but what he was before the Collapse. Only 1Guardian retains his pre Guardian memory and a lucky few have learned who they were the rest have no memory of who they were before a Ghost came along. So if you did find a disc labeled "Cayde" it will not be our Cayde and that individual will not be a Guardian as he will have no Ghost or the power given to them by the Traveller.

5 RespuestasHe can’t be revived from the crypt because you can’t just upload his mind into some body, regardless of if his memories are there or not. Nobody knows how to make exos anymore, it was a secret of the golden age lost with the collapse. That’s highly unlikely, it doesn’t seem like there is limits to an ahamkara wish, but that would probably be stretching it. Also there’d be no reason for Cayde to be wished back (she won’t give us a wish), and even if he did come back through a wish, you can bet your ass he wouldn’t be the same Cayde. Monkey paws deal We don’t know shit about ghosts. We definitely can’t repair them or bring them back to life. If we could, we’d be immortal and this game wouldn’t exist. Elsie Bray probably barely knows who she is if at all, and Ana says herself she doesn’t really know anything about Bray other than what’s laying around on Mars.
