So here's my prediction, like Halo when Bungie was Dev this is going to fall on its face. Bungie has been hemorrhaging players until the last DLC, now Shadowkeep isn't selling well on preorder many are waiting to see, with every Like Smith info spill it looks less fun and more expensive for those who stayed. The real dems were fired from destiny and its creative genius is being slowly killed by its current leadership team and greed.

  • I have to say I’m intrigued for what’s in store in H6, H5 would’ve been pretty good if it wasn’t for micro transactions and a pretty meh story.

  • Probably not hard copies but digital copies may have more sales. Too bad we cant see that. Note digital tends to sell more over hard copy.

  • Bro you need a history lesson. Bungie made halo through halo reach. Halo 3 sold the most all time at almost 12 million copies. Followed up,by reach,at almost 10 million copies. Halo 4 (343) sold almost 9 and halo 5 was projected to,have, sold 5 million. No exact numbers released on,halo 5 from 343 or Microsoft. So,your pulled from thin air, argument holds no,weight. Halo 3 is to many, people the best competitive fps ever, made and 343 has,yet to recapture the magic bungie, created. Bungie wanted to self publish is why, they left Microsoft and eventually Activision not "after they destroyed the, franchise" as you claim.

  • Under contract yes they did but by Halo 3 their partnership with Microsoft was over and they were nothing more than help, while 343 gaming was able to go it totally alone

  • Contract,didn't end until,after,halo reach. 343 assisted on reach then Bungies contract expired and 343 took,over. Either way,Bungie didn't ruin,halo 343 did. Bungie is Fing up destiny,though. 😂

  • Bungie couldn't work with a partner either time, and facts bear that out. Halos still making money. Bungie is still stumbling along, and the second year curse is still in force.

  • It's a matter of the founder of bungie being so irritated with the direction they took destiny that he quit in D1

  • Halo fell under bungie? Please explain your logic. Wasn't until halo 4 that halo really fell off. And that was under 343. Check your facts

  • So let's go back shall we Bungie was making and releasing Halo3. Still a partner with Microsoft. Halo2 sold well but many players were not happy with it. Bungie was feeling the creative crunch, after all it was hard creating content, sound familiar? Microsoft was cramping Bungies creative genius, and Bungie wanted to move in other directions so they split sound familiar yet. Microsoft kept the franchise and Bungie left. Halo went on to be one of the biggest grossing games ever. So far in Destiny Bungie struggled with Destiny 1 and 2, separated from the partner and money source Activision but this time managed to keep the rights to Destiny. Meanwhile Luke Smith has stated after D1 that making content is hard, making DLC content was too much, and working with Activison cramped Bungies creative genius. Smith also stated the annual pass stressed and put a high strain on the Devs. D2 sold well but lost a large amount of the player base, with a hope that Shadowkeep will bring back players and also sell well. Which looks to me like Bungie is consistently not able to work with a partner without conflict (Microsoft or Activision). Gets to the second year of a franchise and has issues finding itself. Except this time they own the rights to the franchise and they must make it work on a budget that's a hell of a lot smaller than they had with either partner. So they either make it work or sell it
