I'm not seeing any arguments that actually disconnect the community from the game. As far as I, and many others, are concerned, the community IS the game. Until you can convince me otherwise I'm going to continue saying what I am.

It doesn’t reference the community. Here let me clarify: “the community” is not a defined term, it can mean anything to anyone. Destiny 2 is a defined term. It means the game Destiny 2. Other players aren’t the game. The game is the game. The post itself doesn’t mention either one. It’s just a “satirical” mocking of players who post on the forums. It’s not a discussion of the game, it’s not a discussion of the community. It’s just a shit post.

Alright, since I clearly won't be able to convince you that my view on this is right, and you won't be able to convince me that yours is right, I'm going to take a step back here and say, if this is a shitpost.... so what? Why shouldn't that be allowed here? I don't think it belongs in offtopic because it isn't off topic, it is about the forums. There isn't really any place to mention stuff like this, and since the forums are inherently meant to be about d2, I think the tag fits.

This post was made in the D2 category and this post should be moved to off topic where it belongs. The OP didn’t want it to be ignored they wanted to mock other users in the D2 forums so they posted it in the D2 forum where it doesn’t belong. I understand your point in principle, but it’s blinding you to the fact that the forums are here to discuss the game not each other, and the forums have rules. I find this distasteful. You dont. The difference of opinion is fine, it doesn’t matter. That doesn’t make the post appropriate for the forum which it isn’t.
