What about getting the 75 Specific Elemental Weapon Guardian Kills???
Warlocks have to do Solar which is easy with Trust, Jotunn, Roar of the Bear, Oxygen, Polaris Lance (a bunch of others, especially with tracking or remote destination)
Hunters get Void - Fighting Lion, Truth, Hammerhead, Telesto, Gravaton Lance, etc...Easy
But Titans.....TITANS have to do Arc Weapon Kills.......I mean what the heck???
I use Loaded Question and if I’m not at just the right range, it doesn’t OHK. Or if they see me charging to fire they just side step and shotgun me.
I use Wardcliff Coil and all the rockets exploded all around me target and I only get a kill 50% of the time.
I use a ARC Bow, but can’t OHK that way either and I get Bygones, Revoker, Recluse, Jotunn, etc back at me.
Why couldn’t it just be 75 Elemental Kills? Making each Class have a different element is not an even task because of the quantity and quality of elemental weapons in the game.
Getting the 75 Arc Weapon Kills was very very frustrating and basically made me feel like I hate PVP more than I ever have. dealing with Sweaty Meta players is one thing, but when your hands are tied to weapons you don’t really like, it’s just.....Ugh
Also, I’m playing my 10 Gambit matches tonight and have decided that Truth has basically broken Gambit.

I had solo my 75 because I didn’t get matchmade with anyone else using Arc weapons apparently

I do feel titans got the short end of the straw here. Hunter was so easy - I ran hammerhead and recluse and got the kills in about 3 cricible matches. For titan I used horrors least however it meant frequently pitting this against meta weapons. It worked eventually but definately took longer than the other solar and void objectives.

I have an arc leviathan pulse rifle. Inaugural address i think it's called. Would be no problem for me. I also don't understand why recluse and hammerhead is awesome but thunderlord and an arc smg would suck, but that may just be me.

If I remember right that's a solar weapon. Anyway, to answer your point, they're meta weapons, ie they are proven to be pretty much best in slot. This isn't to say the levi pulse can't kill guardians or an arc handgun can't do the same, however overall you're going to have a better time with better weapons. Pit recluse against any other smg and you're probably not going to come out on top the majority of the time if you're not the one with the recluse. this doesn't mean it's not doable of course. However in my experience it certainly took longer than when I had to do the same quest with void weapons.

Literally go to gambit and invade with sole survivor and wardcliff. Get those gambit matches and arc kills don't at the same time

The 75 kills come from all of you on the team, not just you. I got mine in 3 crucible matches and I rock a .50k/d regularly, or worse.

Ummmm.......I don’t think that is correct. I specifically tracked and counted each one of my Kills and they were all mine and only ones that I used the required elemental damage. If what you are saying is true then nobody else on any of my matchmade teams were using Arc weapons

It is true. I know I suck in PvP and I was worried about this blue armor step. I did it the other night and had the 75 kills in 3-4 matches, I can't remember the exact amount. I ended each match with 4-6 kills and everybody else was in double digits.

Infinite paths 8 and nature of the beast were my best friends for that step

I’ve got all the masterworked amor for all 3 of my characters. And the titans 75 arc guardian kills was by far the worse. That’s when I equipped thunderlord and went into gambit. I invaded any time I had heavy. By the time I was done with my 10 gambit matches I only needed 17 arc kills.

I just used Riskrunner for a few matches, wasn't that bad i thought

I just used a year 1 arc pulse and stayed back. Wasn’t too difficult, but I’m an OK player

Arc kills weren’t too bad. I used Gunnoras Axe. If it came down to it, you could rely on teammates. Their Arc kills count towards yours. Waking Vigil is pretty good. An Arc 390 pulse from year 1 could help too.

Honestly I just used Hard Light for all my elemental pvp kills on my 3 toons, does suck you need to swap it's element back to whatever you need whenever you die(unless you need void) but imo it's a solid choice for crucible...at least for an auto rifle.

Borealis is actually decent in crucible as well and it can do the same thing

I completely forgot about Borealis lol but yeah so long as you get special ammo or don't have potato aim (like me) it could work.
