Make it pull ppl in like the Forsaken tether does, allow bonus damage for power weapons, and if I set one as a trap, don’t put it up in the enemies radar, they already can hear and see that it was shot, don’t show them exactly where it is on their radar as well ffs.
And if you could let it activate quicker, that would be outstanding, I can’t count the amount of times I’ve hit someone with tether just to still get killed by their super before tether decides to yank them out of it.
Something to add;
The giant pulsing purple sphere that shows the range of the tether trap. Could we maybe have that turned off? It really gives away the position of the trap, same thing with the pulsing animation of the smoke trap. If we keep them on radar, let’s not also give the enemy a big glowing indicator.

Bumping, cmon Bungie, tether needs some luv
-
i agree completley with the radar situation. whats the point of a trap if its location is actively broadcast to the entire enemy team?
-
1 RespuestaMake easy mode easier? So... disabling any active supers at once, sharing damage between tethered targets, slowing movement speed, and throwing aim off isn't enough. Why not just equip tether, go into a crucible match, and instantly win the match? Why not just turn the game on, select hunter on the character screen, and you get all the loot from every activity?

Only if the fix the hit detection on sentinel its been broke over a year
-
3 Respuestasi dont wanna sound salty, but hunters should stay a little quiet eh? you guys have the most broken stuff for months, and noboby even touch it. blade barrare agaisnt wall come on...that shit is the most abusurd super ever.
-
2 RespuestasHaha get lost Hunter noob... If anything... Hunters need a nerf
-
1 RespuestaHaving it show up on the radar is meant to trick people into thinking theres an enemy, it's called way of the trapper for a reason. If you're talking about the bottom tree, why use that as a trap? It's not meant to be a trap it's meant to be what anarchy is, a web of anchors to slow down opponents.
-
10 RespuestasDude you have a 0.7 kd stop asking for unnecessary buffs
-
36 RespuestasNo, it cancels suppers, it doesn't need a buff.
-
Just give it instant activation.
-
2 RespuestasI’m fine with it showing on radar. Throw a smoke opposite it to throw the enemy off on their radar. It shouldn’t draw people in standard, that could be an exotic perk. You should not be able to walk out of it and walk around a corner (tendrils should be “solid”). It does need to tether and suppress instantly anyone in its range. A buff to its vertical range would also help. Far too easy for enemies to jump over it.
-
1 RespuestaAgreed.. more shield on casting cause you fly in the air like a massive target. Quicker velocity and activation time. It still wouldn't be op due to the nature of the super. I also think it should blind.. I have been killed so many times before I've even got a shot off
-
44 Respuestasthey won't fix it because to many titans and holocks will complain that hunters op
-
2 RespuestasA tether shows up on your mini map ?! Ok that's something I didn't know
-
Only change it needs is to tick damage, it should kill small adds after 3 seconds of being tethered. it’s more of a utility subclass and plays a very specific role so it’s kinda hard to just use it in any activity because it is only useful for dps or orb generation. My advice is just to switch to something that deals more damage like blade barrage or arc staff, tether is a utility/support subclass and does a good job of it too.

Im hoping void week happens in October with shadow keep/festival of the lost. With that reworks of tether, ward of dawn and bottom tree nova bomb
-
Bungie can make the tether a celebration of guardians triumphs by simply adding a mechanic that rewards teammates with for kills on opponents ensnared with an explosion of key fragments!!!

Badly needed. Blue posted on the forums about four months ago it was being looked at but not a peep since. Hopefully it is viable cause it is pretty much the worst super for anything competitive by a very very long shot.
-
Are you listening Bungie??
-
2 RespuestasAs a titan main I agree let's make tethers great again.
-
They either need to increase the animation speed or increase the Tether activation.
-
Or just fix every other super, tether itself is fine, every other super in d2 is just way to strong for tether to keep up with. I completely agreed with u until I remembered that supers in crucible now are out of control and need to be fixed, giving another super a buff won’t fix it. I do agree with removing tether from the radar tho that is a good idea.
-
In my opinion, people are interpreting this as a call for tether to get a buff - which is not the case. Tether is not in need of a buff, but rather a massive adjustment as it is completely ineffective in PvP. The animation and time for the void anchors to activate is far too long, and it leaves you completely vulnerable. This kind of defeats the purpose of Shadowshot as a super as it’s intended purpose is to suppress the enemy and make them vulnerable to attack. Not the other way around. Once the tether is shot, it should instantaneously trap any nearby enemies. There is absolutely no reason that an enemy Guardian should have the time to kill you before the tether finally decides to activate and trap them (assuming that they are in range of the tether, of course). Also, if I directly hit an enemy with tether, it should be an instant kill. I don’t think any of this would make Shadowshot too OP. It would simply bring it back as a viable PvP subclass that works as intended.

I think we can all agree that proximity mines and drone skills are in a really good place right now. Skill builds are really taking over for pure damage builds. And the Expeditions they added with the last update really encouraged cooperative play without any complicated raid elements. Great job to the whole D2 team. 👍

I just feel quiver should one hit kill like in destiny 1
