I’m back... no longer as the Chancellor
As I was sitting in my office, I found that in my absence from Offtopic the Senate was dissolved. It didn’t matter, my forces have been ready for quite some time. Legions of loyalists at my command, ready to instate my Empire.
However, the president would not leave me be. His assassins entered my humble abode, Lightsabers at the ready. This was not unexpected, quite the opposite rather. I simply sat, waiting for them to utter their threats.
“Liam Gue, you are under arrest for treason against Offtopic.”
I had committed no such crime, nevertheless, my fight would be necessary. I readied my blade for the carnage ahead.
“Treason? I’ve done nothing to warrant this accusation.”
“The President thinks otherwise.”
“So be it.”
I could go into detail as to how they fell, but such things are -blam!- and not worth my time. All I will say is, I rather enjoyed watching their hope leave them as I cut down each with precision unseen before.
As I left my office my fleet arrived in orbit, I was extracted and regrouped with my forces. I ordered a broadcast to be sent to all of Offtopic, my demand was met without hesitation.
“Members of Offtopic, your Republic betrayed you when they dissolved the Senate. I, however, am not so devious. This Empire shall lead you to victory yet unimagined, and we shall not crumble. Join with me, and we shall rule the forums together!”
And so it begins.[spoiler]Yeah I’m back, the Senate was dissolved so that was a fat RIP. But yeah join the Empire, we Virus-proofed our networks and software, so there’s that. Also, we have Molasses cookies. Glad to be back![/spoiler]
