I have not really felt a need to say something about this until now. Competitive has been flooded with people getting 3 player teams against 4 player teams. Not only that, teams seem to be having teammates not load in on time, or at all, for round based gamemodes.
If possible, could you add an argument or something to prevent the match from starting until 8 people have joined the match and not start the round until every player is loaded in?
I have been noticing this issue happening time and time again, and frankly have had enough of going against people with only 2 others instead of 3.

1 RespuestaNot to bothered about the 3 v 4 or even stacking against a team solo the issue is you match against people who are far higher skilled than yourself, nothing worse than loading in against a team of not forgotten, I don’t care if the pool gets smaller it should be skilled based (rank would be good as that is what this game seems to lock everything behind in crucible) I’ll admit I not great at this game but I’ve been playing since day one and just feel deflated in competitive, I can’t get better if you keep matching me against for higher skilled players, you don’t go from pub football to international caps overnight you work your way playing against people at the same level!!

I played 4 hours in comp today and ran into 4 different teams that were either using hacked guns ( one guy firing wardcliff coil bursts out of a Trust Hand Cannon and another who had TWO GUNS shooting at the same time, one in his hands and another gun was literally sticking out of his feet) or they're -blam!-ing with the network, lag switching, or manipulating their actual armor. I literally shot one guy with six horror's least shots and his shield wouldn't go past halfway.

Can’t really play competitive without wanting to throw Your controller at the TV sometimes and what’s with this crap that people in the middle of the match start disappearing on both teams I’m playing with people who have all the pinnacle weapons also makes it a little bit more difficult

Honestly when I went into comp today I ended the day with less glory than I started after 2 games!!! Bungie seriously needs to change something with how comp matchmaking works

One thing I think they should add is a surrender option. It would benefit especially when a team has players just leaving in the middle of the game. I've had games where the opposing or even my own team people leaving. Just to have one guy on the opposing team and now it becomes a game to see if they'll leave , get all the points, or if time runs out. Would he'll with getting to another game quicker.

5 RespuestasSimple Answer: Comp is a team-based game mode. You wouldn’t go into R6S Ranked or Overwatch Comp without a team, why should D2 be any different.

The 3v4 situation are players trying to avoid stacks so if they are in a group or like a solo player he is taking a chance in a full stack so he backs out matchmaking before the game actually starts so it ends up to be a 3v4

Im all for getting all the bugs fixed in pvp. With that said, most 3v4 are a result of people quitting. If you're trying to win, especially in comp, get a fireteam together.

Editado por dogbone867: 7/24/2019 3:13:57 PMSo I played a comp game with my friend the other day and we both Had pretty good games,and so did one of our blueberries.But the other guy completely sunk us with only 7 kills and 15 deaths.Both of my other teammates went positives by one and I went positive by 10.but this one piece of trash was put on our team so we could carry him and he lost us this game.Only one player went positive on the enemy team,and we still lost.

3 RespuestasAll of matchmaking needs to be addressed, not just comp. And no, they dont need a solo play list, that would just make the pool of players smaller. I think they will start addressing this next season, that's what luke was eluding to in that announcement that day. Talking about having to redo the foundation before adding on.

Agreed. I had the issue the other day where my character’s guns were trying to load graphics the entire match. It’s so hard to aim with an invisible gun. So I was no help to my team, let alone we too were 3 on 4. I feel when players are handicapped like that, no penalty for a loss or at least a lower percentage of points deducted would be appropriate. But I am just a player who plays their game. What do I know?

With all the 'invisible bodies' and a new on me - watching someone else play like u have died in a respawn restricted zone for 3 games out of 4 - how can rank in comp be correctly earn or taken away? That's happened a few times to me alone and by my calculations I'm about 250 points short due to bungie server issues - every little helps

1 RespuestaI even one person leaves then the game should stop until another player is found, and if you leave there should be harsh punishment. If you leave you should have a dramatic loss in glory and depending on how many times you leave it should get more and more severe. Also 4 stacks should only match up with 4 stacks, if you 4 stack you should be prepared to experience longer wait times.

the user Bieltan has given me a close to perfect solution to this issue, props to him. brilliant idea. get rid of control and clash in competitive and have the round based game modes give out points per round instead of per game.. that that if you lose 5-6 you are getting 5x80 points and getting taking away 6x60 points.. so thats 400-360 , wich would leave you with at least 40 points. instead of -60 points in total.. in a case of 1-5 you would "win" 80 and lose 300 that makes you lose the cap which is 100 points.. which would still be larger than the "normal" loss making this playlist more volatile but also less prone to invest large time amounts and getting nothignnwhen you are close.. =) and you can also get 5-1 which would leave you with 240 points en plus and thus would reduce the struggle for other players.. (or cap it at 100 if you want..) overall a good starting point thanks Bieltan
