The Ring of Winter would like me to relay that it is insulted by your cheap imitation and would very much like to plunge this world into a new ice age, but I'm resisting the temptation.
I, myself, am insulted you believe I live under a mountain like some cowardly beast or generic supervillain. I have a magnificent mansion on the upper slope where I frequently host extravagant balls!
Aside from that, I learned in the Feywild that accepting gifts from strangers usually comes with a price and I'd rather not be some would be Dark Lords pawn.

You have balls in your mansion? I love party’s. Well more party’s that are classified as balls due to the normal classical music. Costume balls are even better, therefor I can wear a mask and mysterious prance around and enjoy the festivities.

You have a mansion? Is it just a variation of Mordenkainen’s magnificent mansion? And do you happen to play [url=https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=YyknBTm_YyM]Danse Macabre[/url] at the balls, and animate dead? That seems like something you would do, or is my imagination just overcomplicating things?

I included it in a story awhile back but it was in ruin. Decided to fix the place up. And I actually really like that song and have posted it a few times in the past! Also, when I was building my Offtopic character in D&D, the spells I cared about having the most were Eldritch Blast, Hex, Danse Macabre, Animate Dead, and being able to cast Create Undead at a high enough level to make Wights.

That’s one of my favorite songs, but then I lake a lot of classical music. I haven’t played warlock much but Eldritch blast is a must for that class, and you have seemed a lot like a necromancer so the create undead makes sense. The only spells I have to worry about is stab, slash, and whack.

Yeaaaaah I actually only have two levels in Warlock unfortunately... I just couldn't get the things I wanted out of it. There's no way that I'm aware of to get the basic Animate Dead spell and I wouldn't be able to cast Create Undead at a higher spell slot level to make Wights. So I'm 2 Old One Warlock/18 Lore Bard.

Ahh, makes sense. I just had to take leveled in battlemaster fighter to get everything I wanted. Although taking a level or two in paladin could do me some good, and could be cool.

I love listening to that song while casting the actual spell. My tiefling once got tasked by my party to distract a camp of Enemy’s so I casted the spell and just played the fiddle while walking out of the dark eerie night towards the crowds. I frightened all of them. The ones that ran away where the lucky ones. [spoiler]BWAHAHAHAHA[/spoiler]

Bard Necromancers are best Necromancers...though I've flavored mine as singing spells in an ancient and forgotten language... Still!

My tiefling bard warlock was fun. Although he used his fiddle to cast instead of songs. The character was a trickster and eventually became king of the lands without the people noticing. Plus roleplaying with Watson was fun. Since he was a Aasimar cleric yet our characters where brothers by some weird thing. Made for interesting interactions.

And for one last thing. If your Ring Of Winter thinks that The Ring Of Frost is a knockoff it is highly mistaken. If you seriously wish I could make you The One Ring. But since that is a bad thing I refuse to not. I could remake the New Ring made by Talion and Celebrimbor if you seriously wanted it. And have a fine morning.
