Seriously, who runs with an entire gear set from Gambit?
I've completed one Gambit Prime match and decided I never would again. Now I won't be able to complete my triumphs because they require a full set of gambit prime gear... Who keeps that junk?
Having a small quest for completing a crucible match or strike with a related gear set is fine, but year-end triumphs for it is dumb. Especially for gambit as it's one of the least liked activities in this game.

Editado por Lull9: 7/16/2019 11:15:11 PMI've got all Notorious sets for all characters. I kept them because the time to get them was at hand, passed and will never come again. And now I'm not up shit creek without a paddle because I had the tiniest bit of foresight.

3 RespuestasWho keeps that stuff? I have notorious versions of all four sets that each have complementary enhanced perks of each piece for each set role. Moments of triumph have always been about the activities of that year and if you chose not to participate in it that's on you. But thanks for letting us know you're that guy that shows up with 1 piece of +1 in prime while the rest of us look at you like "wtf is the point of you"
-
I keep it.
-
Junk calling other things junk
-
2 Respuestasthe triumphs are not for minor participation in activities or even no participation. these are for Moments of triumph, not moments of good enough.
-
6 RespuestasI like how you complain about requiring full sets and yet you are AFKing the forges for resources.
-
Entitled much. That's like saying I want raid gear and the raid exotic but I refuse to raid.
-
3 Respuestasfrom the start, for you to proclaim you've completed a grand total of 1 prime match the seal shouldn't even be something you are curious about. you clearly do not participate in enough activities to even be in that neighborhood.
-
The only thing that sucks is doing the reckoning..
-
I am that guy that runs full collector on my team hit me baby
-
You have a month and a half. Even starting from scratch you can get a notorious set in a couple weeks.
-
It would have been much better to just say how unfair this is for players who have to do reckoning to show they did momments of triumph for a limited time seal

Editado por Balderdash1112: 7/15/2019 5:18:15 PMThe whole point of moments of triumph was to commerate everything u did in the entire year 2 of D2. And considering that gambit prime/armor sets was the whole point of season of the drifter. I’d say that is a big part of year 2, so duh it’s apart of the moments of triumph for year 2. Tier 3 reckoning is brutal, but if u find a good team it’s not awful, now go bust out an armor set and get the title.
-
Seriously? Are you 🤬serious. One is not Triumphant if one only finishes .05% of an objective.
-
*Never went for the top tier armor sets for Gambit Prime* *Complains he can’t complete a triumph about achieving top tier loot for Gambit Prime* This kind of logic sums up a lot of the nonsense complaining on here.
-
I run a full Gambit Prime Invader set. It makes killing people who refuse to get gear of their own much much easier.
-
6 RespuestasFor me I have 1 Notorious Invasion Helmet and nothing else Every Notorius Reaper gear except the helmet Not looking forward to grinding to complete either set for the Triumph but I'm doing it.
-
They are supposed to be achievements, triumphs, they require a bit of effort, some more than others, I am in the same boat, never play gambit, find the armor ugly so I deleted all of it, took me a few runs today to get the full gear again. Just grind for 1 set, any set, wont take long. What is wrong with people lately? are people so self-entitled these days? I wont be able to complete my triumphs... seriously? how old are you? of course you will...
-
So don't do it, problem solved. You don't have to do everything or get everything to play or enjoy the game.
-
Dude it's a triumph.... Not a starter quest
-
Gambit Prime was literally designed for every player to have a full armor set. Don't complain that you can't get the seal for doing everything when you don't want to do everything.
-
No, seals are for ppl who are willing to go above and beyond what casual/lazy ppl are unwilling to grind for, deal with it
-
Editado por THE SARGE 01: 7/15/2019 1:36:59 PMThen you do not complete that specific triumph.
-
I did it. I finished it and it didn't seem so bad. Back to it as usual now.

I just started truly grinding Reckoning yesterday, as Gambit (and Season of the Drifter as a whole) never really enticed me. With that said, Reckoning is easily the best endgame PvE content in a lot of ways. It is by far the most difficult PvE activity in the game (even more than raids in my opinion), and in my opinion is tougher than Heroic Menagerie because it maintains difficulty at max light (while heroic menagerie forces us to compete while underleveled for the time being). I think its rewards could use a slight buff, but in general I enjoyed the grind yesterday. The only Notorious Invader piece I need is the bond, so it'll likely take a bit of grinding for that. I think what makes Reckoning bad is the matchmaking system. If you run it with a full fireteam its fine, but people constantly leaving makes it difficult to grind quickly. It'd probably be better off sending you to orbit after a completion. As for the triumph relating to the seal...its a limited time title that is commemorating guardians who triumphed in all aspects of year 2. Its not just gambit armor--you have to do something difficult in each aspect of the game. Crucible players have to earn PvE pinnacle weapons through the Drifter and Vanguard, as well as do all 3 raids in year 2 if they want the title. Raiders who never set foot in PvP have to get one of the Crucible pinnacle weapons, which are arguably the hardest guns to obtain in the game. I get your frustration, but this title isn't there as a free gift to anyone and everyone--it requires triumphs that span the whole year. Its just a title anyway, which is basically a cosmetic. If you really want it then just grind! I don't love Gambit, but it only takes 2 gambit prime matches and 4 reckoning runs to finish the weekly bounties that upgrade your synth. After that, ya just need to grind a bit for synths and play reckoning til you have the set.

5 RespuestasWait until you see the quest steps for the full Solstice of Heroes armor. You think the current triumphs are bad? I'm betting there is going to be one for this full set and it is going to be a PAIN to get. Its ten times worse than anything we've seen YET. https://youtu.be/J6-8Nsm-tbA
