I think this change would further individualize warlocks and embrace what it means to be one.
Balanced glide is very rarely used / pretty weak and blink is a far better option to have in PVP. (With Astrocyte verse as an option now anyway)
Storm Caller and Dawnblade could operate pretty much the same as it does with Icarus dash still being able to be used after the blink and during Super as it does now for top tree dash movement.
(Sorry people I got the glides mixed up and have swapped strafe glide for balanced)

18 RespuestasYou Warlocks are annoying enough without every Warlock subclass using blink. I say bring back blink for Hunters. Imagine using blink with spectral blades. Badass right there.
-
N...no. It would make the outbreak quest impossible

-
No. I use balanced glide. Blink is trash.
-
So far we've only seen Hunters & Warlocks being able to Blink, and out of all 3 elements, only Arc & Void Subclasses have displayed the abilitty to perform that kind of jump I wonder why Solar Subclasses aren't able to Learn this technique, or if there's anything regarding the Nature of the Solar element that holds them back

14 Respuestas
Balanced glide is very rarely used / pretty weak
I disagree. Balanced glide is my go to choice for PvE due to its versatility. Burst glide is too sluggish when floating, while strafe glide is too sluggish on liftoff. Balanced glide does what it says: it gives a balance between the two so neither is hindering you. Overall, I feel like part of what makes Voidwalker unique is blink. If the other subclasses have it, Voidwalker would lose part of what makes it what it is.

I use it so you're wrong

6 RespuestasI’d rather have a way to disable blink. As I hate using it.

8 RespuestasEditado por Snafu Gundam: 7/1/2019 1:04:07 AMNo. Blink sucks. I can't stand playing my warlock with that "jump"
-
I actually hate Blink. I loved it in D1. D2 it’s kinda not worth using. You lose air control and people predict it easily.
-
I run warlock and hate blink I find it unpredictable or maybe that's just me. But no definitely not.
-
I always found blink to be 50/50. Depends on your opponents reaction time adjusting to your new location and also how quickly you do the same. Never had a knack for it really so its a gamble really

2 Respuestas"Blinking" in an out from the spaces of existence is a feature of the Void. Ionic Blink is entirely different than "Blink" though. The massive amount of Arc energy coursing throughout your entire being allows for the instant transference of particles over short distances.
-
2 RespuestasIt wouldn't make sense imagine a daybreak super (a.k.a Dawn blade) using blink make no sense
-
2 RespuestasBlink has only ever been on voidwalker and bladedancer. Ionic blink isn't the same thing as it's requires a super and stormcaller in d2 has it still.
-
6 RespuestasYou want blink on all three Warlock classes? You can have that when Hunters get it back on their Arc subclass, as well as active camo.
-
Let's not get it nerfed already.

1 RespuestaI only used balanced glide, ’cause, you know, it’s the most balanced.
seriously though, balanced glide is the best one
-
Blink on all 3 subclasses would be cool. I'd probably play my Warlock more if that was the case. So jarring to be all fine and dandy playing Voidwalker and blinking around. But then I want to switch up and then I'm stuck with the stupid crappy glides that just make you float around a bit...
-
Blink on any other one and I'd be happy,
-
I'd be cool with it, but only if my poledancer can blink too.
-
As a main warlock - please no. If you do any pvp you will understand why. Blink is way way too good in good hands when it comes to pvp, you can outplay anything and everything. I dodge nova bombs, blade barrages and wardcliff coils left and right and that’s even without the Astrocyte Verse. PvE wise it wouldn’t make much difference as some of the game mechanics are impossible with blink (gauntlet in menagerie anyone?). But PvP wise it will be a carnage, I’m scared to think of the ways they will butcher the class with other nerfs if this eve happens.
-
blink in PvE jump and run puzzle is nearly impossible to do it fast and save. either way it makes me sick to use blink. my head can’t handle it very well.
-
Eww no Id rather have a Titan burst

2 RespuestasBlinking involves the void quite literally. I think Bladedancers learned some form of copying it, like with cloak
