Buff Tarrabah please.
It doesn’t have to be a big buff. The gun in its current state feels too much like a chore to activate ravenous beast. I don’t like being punished for switching to a special weapon to deal with a major quick and have all my perk progress removed. That’s really the only glaring issue with this weapon. So I say, don’t let the weapon lose perk progress and maybe the ability to charge the perk while taking damage, even though another weapon is out.

Have an upvote. I made a similar post a while ago but it didn't get any traction. All this gun needs is to not lose the perk or charge progress when stowed. It should only be lost on activation or player death. That would make it a top tier pve primary.

Got it on my second run, used it for 10 minutes and permavaulted it. Its trash. Takes forever to activate a perk that seems to last for 3 seconds. Gtfo.

Its probably one of the better exotics but it definitely under preforms in comparison to a legendary which is a shame since its a exotic.

10 RespuestasI have yet to get it and it will probably be a main weapon I use tbh. I like niche weapons like this that aren't necessarily good nor bad. Bonus points since I've yet to see anyone actually use this unlike Recluse where you will never escape the spam in any activity or location.

You all need to read the post, it loses progress when you holster it or swap to another weapon already equipped. It needs to not lose it's build up when it's holstered. It really isn't as good as you may think it is.

6 RespuestasShitty weapon anyway. Let’s once again thank streamers for crap categories of weapons that are used only bc they have been buffed disproportionately without any rational to please them. Grenade launchers doing all more damage than rocket launcher. Only in a kindergarten fantasy game can we find such ridiculous things. Pulse rifle with more range than snipers? Lmfao! Sub machine guns with higher damage per bullet than auto rifles. And so on. It’s getting a little stupid at this point. Talk about balancing. The only thing that should be balanced are the sheep who like to jump on every carrot.

Bungie has a philosophy, which basically says when one gun becomes the obvious and only choice then that gun or all or several others need to be changed/fixed. Right now, I believe that gun is the recluse. At least as far as smg goes. Buffing tarabah may be one of the options.

They are more likely to nerf every other weapon to the same level than buff your preferred weapon [i]up[/i].

1 RespuestaI think the whole ‘hold x to activate the ability’ thing needs to be changed a bit. The transitions aren’t smooth at all. There’s a giant delay while holding x for you to then reload and fire, by which point you could already be dead. The reload animation should be removed.

I’ve used Tarrabah for some time now, In all means the gun isn’t entirely horrible but it can use some quality of life fixes and maybe a gentle rub on the cheeks. Make Ravenous Beast have the fast reload [i]before[/i] activating it. Make the perk stay active even when swapping guns and using super. Then when the buff is actually applied via special animation. Add the other goodies. And make the timer a little longer maybe? Add an extra second per kill and the same prolong buff when dealing damage?. The gun can get its kills and when beast is on it melts good but it can use 5 more bullets, Recluse doesn’t need half a brain to activate the perk and can be stored until ready to go. I love it but it seriously needs some fixing to actually feel like a raid exotic (Like 1K And Anarchy) just my suggestions
