Getting back in
I was a die-hard Destiny fan with the first game and put countless hours of my life into that game. I was stoked for the second game and pre-ordered it. The more I played it the less I enjoyed it. It wasn't the game I remembered. With the new expansion coming out this fall would now be a good time to jump back in? I haven't played in a year and I want a game to get into for college. How difficult would it be to catch up and should I even try?

2 RespuestasWith the fall expansion, they’re doing something called Destiny2: New Light or something, when you create a character you start in the cosmodrome, and play that D1 mission until you get into the tower where you get allegedly 750 power gear and access to everything from year one for free, as well as whatever other expansion you purchased. The 750 power gear is a work in progress number, but still that seems the best time to get back into destiny as a new dlc will come out and all the content from the annual pass will have launched. Although Season of Opulence just launched and I really enjoy it so far so it could be a good way to bide time until all the new stuff and new games come out in the fall.

Many liked the Forsaken expansion, year 2 Destiny 2. No one really knows if year 3 will be any good. I have a good feeling about it. Forsaken was closer to what Destiny 1 was. If you like Forsaken, the annual pass might be worth getting, otherwise, you might save your money.
