Skull is way worse, atleast you have a chance of getting a super with Orpheus

I was using them last night, they didn’t seem nearly as bad as Skull of Dire Ahamkara or Shards of Galanor.

Rigs were incredibly op, and STILL are * if you use them correctly. Tether IN FRONT of a group of adds instead of directly in the middle of them.

It's literally fine. I run through menagerie with them and get at least a 3rd back and at most 2/3

Rigs came out of the nerf better than Skull did tbh.

Seriously if they would just stop making stupid exotic armors and start making exotic armors that actually have really nice perks that would fix it. I thought the whole point is they "want you to feel powerful" (I am sure they said that), now with skull not feeling that bro. Back to eye of another world. It's sorta like when they nerved Nova warp and they went way too far and then eventually they realized "oh, um... oops". I get that they didn't want people supering their way through the raid to be the 1st one to complete it because when you go in to in event or activity and people tell you know "you need to run this spec" there is a problem (I hated that on WoW, because are you really enjoying the game by playing the way people tell you that you have to). So I do understand somewhat the nerf but when they said diminishing returns I take that as the 1st time it should work the way it did and then it should not work the same each time after within a certain time frame. I did get invaded in Gambit last night and a blade barrage hunter threw THREE blade barrages and ONE invasion (some people kindly informed me it is because of a bug that bungo overlooked in gambit with blade barrage that I didn't know about). I remember throwing 3 Nova bombs in one primeval fight but I had to throw it right and kill a lot of enemies to do it, now I'm lucky if I just get half of my super back after my Nova Bomb (At the end of the fight!) The fact that this guy got THREE supers in ONE invasion and there's only four people to kill. He didn't wipe out my whole team with one blade barrage he wiped out maybe one or tw people each time but he was able to wipe out the whole team easilly because he had THREE thrown in ONE invasion. Bungie needs to do better at addressing these issues when doing nerfs to things people like, because my first impression was "Ruin my skull, but leave shards alone? Screw you Bungo!", after being told it is a bug I was like "Step up Bungo, fix this crap" lol. It was like when I enjoyed using Nova Warp, and then they nerfed it into the ground. Then they realized "Oh, well we went too far" (YA THINK?!) and then they went and nerfed Spectral Blades and looking at the description of the adjustments they made it was nothing compared to what they did to Nova Warp. That got me a bit tilted on that one too thinking they are hunter biased.

I still get it back pretty quickly.

I mean it's noticeable but I still get my super back pretty often. My teams have had zero issues generating supers while playing.

Finally tested the rigs last night. Definitively not THAT bad. If you place your shot accordingly with the right amount of enemies, it comes back pretty quick. Hopped onto Nessus last night and cast it a decent sized group last night. Normally, I would have gotten the full super, but i got about 85-90% back, and had to wait for the rest to regenerate, but the orbs I create from my weapons helped that last bit of energy needed.

Yup. There’s a reason people use these exotics...supers take too long to charge. Period.

yeah, and its not like i made meaningful choices and caved to their infusion core bs for builds based around certain armor pieces and invested my cores accordingly.. that would be funny right... right....... R.I.G.H.T....

Agreed. Why not try and make exotics as good as rigs instead of turning my golden boots into tampons?

It's still good, it's just not braindead easy now. If you hit consistently good tethers, you'll get all or at least most back easy, you're just b!tching cause there's some actual effort required now

Orpheus isn't that bad. I was using it in Reckonng T3 and was getting my super back almost as often as usual, just supplemented with a few kills in between. It's hardly not worth using not. They did ruin Shards, tho..
