Other than 180s, hand cannons on console feel terrible
-
Apart from the NF/LUNA
-
True.. but are getting better I feel. Go for a roll that rewards consistency. Opening shot and moving target combo is stupid solid. I started trying it in pvp paired with a enhanced hand cannon targeting helmet and it feels so good, it is hard to not use said roll. I know, this is not the answer for your valid complaint, but just spreading any info to help improve things currently.
-
Haha, maybe you just need to get good? Seriously though they seem fine to me
-
2 RespuestasWeapon feel alone makes swapping to PC worth it. Seriously.
-
Watching the PC comparison to Console videos is night and day difference. Us console plebs can only dream of lightning fast UI.
-
I think they need either a range buff, stability buff, or have bloom removed.
-
10 RespuestasIt’s because most casual players are not very good with them and complain a lot when they are the meta

I use Spare Rations a lot, along with other 150s and some 140s. I absolutely love playing with these Handcannons. That being said I agree, the recoil animation is a bit too much and often result in you not seeing where you’re aiming if you use the full fire rate. 140s and 150s could use a recoil reduction or somehow reduce the animation of the recoil. 110s are kinda meant to be used in a peek shooting focused playstyle. Otherwise 180s will basically reign supreme at all times. Using a 150/140 is like handicapping yourself. You can still do well with them but you would do MUCH better using a 180.

4 RespuestasEditado por Rikudo Osatsu: 5/28/2019 12:35:59 AMIdk why they make hand cannons so bad in d2 to begin with. Some people say that they made hand cannons inconsistent in d2 to give newbies a chance, but I believe that's very dumb. They wont be newbies for long and screwing with game mechanics because they cant take away a players skill is not the right way. Punishing players who took the time to practice and learned from their mistakes is not the way to prevent new players from being stomped. The crucible is a unforgiving place to begin with. I can imagine how confused a newbie must be when they get picked off by the Jotunn and ask where is the skill in using a weapon that powerful. (I got my luna's howl from abusing Jotunn, easy picks and no effort, unlike hand cannons that aren't 180) Bungie ruins weapons that take good aim and skill like hand cannons and snipers, but introducing weapons like the Jotunn, max range shotguns and the Colony. Their logic and decision making is seriously flawed. They have to realize that players have to practice to become decent at some point and implementing easy to use, powerful weapons just to nerf them 6 months later isn't helping.

2 RespuestasI love hand cannons on console, with Thorn actually being my favorite gun in the entire game
-
Midnight coup and Spare Rations feel pretty nice to me.

4 RespuestasEditado por FataLVisioN_Oo: 5/25/2019 1:36:35 PMI was messing around with a green 140 that has a ton of stability but no range....... thing was super crispy aside from the lack of range. Pretty much tells me stability definitely needs a buff

2 RespuestasAce is great when memento mori is active. But that's getting nerfed soooooo ya lmao

3 RespuestasPeople are too used to 180's which should have never been created. There should never be a revolver or magnum that can fire very quickly and have no recoil while maintaining the same stopping power of a slower firing but more powerful one. The no recoil age in fps games is ruining balance and spreading misinformation such as faster firing weapons have the same strength as ones with more stopping power purely because it put more bullets down range. A colt .22 is not going to have the same stopping power as a S &W . 500. despite being more manageable. 140 and down are decent but if they are to be good unpopular opinion especially with the recent crap 180's would have to get nerfed and bungie already on fire about nerfs so it won't happen no time soon.
-
So don't use them then 👍
-
1 RespuestaDon’t know about anyone else, but aside from recoil, every weapon feels the same to me. Most of the time, I just use the same loadout for everything.
-
2 RespuestasIfnI can solo the shattered throne boss battle with Waking Vigil and a shotgun....hand canons arent the problem...
-
Pretty much. Well, 110s are okay, generally because with the right rolls they kill steal everyone because it does such nice damage, but 1v1 out in the open a nice Service Revolver or Trust is so much more useful. Why Bungie thought it would be a good idea to make pinnacle weapons that are just as easy to use but with a faster ttk, I'll never know.

3 RespuestasMany weapons on console are terrible.
-
2 RespuestasThe console game feel in general is poor. They should rehire VV and have them port the PC port back to console as they clearly know how to make almost every gun feel good. Alternatively they could make the recoil less crazy across the board.
-
Waking Vigil is a good 150.
-
6 RespuestasConsole handcannons are still not as bad as console autos. It's so bad.
-
I have been in love with my Spare Rations It’s so far been the only non-180 HC that feels as good as Midnight Coup
-
4 RespuestasI think everything in game would feel better if Bungie would tweak the right stick control. After playing several other fps for the last few months, I find my patience for the acceleration or aim assist (whatever it is that causes the unpredictability of aiming) to be running out. Hand Cannons are actually the best feeling to me.

I know some people who use XiM. Heard it makes everything smoother.
