Games were meant to be fun. Destiny has left that area behind. In order to achieve relevance time has to be pledged to Destiny. Well, my life is far more valuable than being forced to keep up with content that expires. To acquire weapons and armor that become irrelevant after a few months just to be forced into a rng grind for the next best thing which has the same shelf life. You never paid me for my time, but you demanded constant attention to achieve pinnacle goals. You reset progress when tasks weren't completed by your due date, but i still didn't get any benefits. The story is too slow to develop and the gear is antiquated faster than a smartphone. I feel like this has been a one sided relationship and I'm done not getting anything in return. I have posted relevant feedback concerning the direction the developers have taken with the game. This feedback was not meant for you easily triggered snowflakes who can't grasp that someone can have an opinion that contradicts your little bubble. I meant this for the team of story tellers and developers who have missed the point of gaming as a whole. If you don't agree, this is fine and expected. Opinions are always unique and it is what challenges us to be different. However, if you don't contribute anything at all except to be annoying, carry on and continue your self loathing existence. I welcome anyone who has sincere objections towards my angst of the game, but the idiotic satire is just that, satire. While some satire serves a political purpose in specific venues, imbeciles who wield it without understanding only serve to be trolls, grow up you attention seeking basement dwellers. PS. I have loved Destiny since the first release. I preordered both games. Ordered the CE because I'm a collector. My angst and concerns with the game is in no way meant to draw attention to me by the community but to send a message, no matter how insignificant, to the developers. I was not the everyday player, so I didn't get burned out on chasing content. I played the game because of Halo. Bungie had a way of telling a story and allowing you to be a part of that story. This is what I wanted for Destiny. However, Bungie has decided to push players into playing consistently in order to be a part of this story. If you miss your chance, which I miss plenty, to engage in a seasonal activity you can't go back and enjoy that experience. This is a major blow for me. I have had a lot of good times running through raids, doing night falls, which I still don't have them all completed, cussing at PVP, and laughing at boss cheese. So, when I post this message understand it isn't to have the community " take pity" it's because I have a desire for Destiny to one day return to the foundation of what gaming is supposed to be about, fun. I understand plenty of people still enjoy this game, and they should it is fun to play. However, when you miss out on story and content that you can never get back, this makes it bleak in my point of view. I never had a bad time playing this game. I even enjoyed Curse of Osiris, even if it was cheesy and half assed. The thing is, that content will always be there though. This post is about overlooking a player base that enjoys taking their time, because time is a commodity.
