Upvote if you think the game can be improved, but are thankful for all the hard working devs sacrificing probably way to much personal time to make this game.

I’m sure they aren’t spending much time there. Especially the crucible team. This game has gotten so stale, it feels like they gave up.

There’s not nearly enough evidence that devs are actually putting in hard work to justify this kind of empty discussion topic. And even if they are putting in hard work, the reality is the results just aren’t good enough. We have quite a bit of accumulated data of Bungie updating the game too slowly, or with too little effect, and much less data showcasing clear, major successes from them. Could Destiny be fixed? Sure, probably; there isn’t a particular reason to conclude that such would be impossible. But there has not been evidence of late to demonstrate that Bungie has the capability to make it happen.

2 RespuestasUhm....it's a job. They have to be here or they get fired. While they are here they get paid. Furthermore, each and every person on this dev team can now put on their resume's that they have worked for Bungie, and on a "launched" Triple A Title game...that's huge. More huge than the paycheck they are getting every 2 weeks for working here. So....just like ANY job. I would venture to say that WE are doing them more of a favor than they have ever done us, in that because we log on and keep the game afloat every day, they have jobs, the game stays a Triple A Title, and Bungie stays popular. It's not like they are doing this for free. All this said, they should also be listening and reacting to their community on a more frequent basis. We all pay good money and invest a LOT of time in this game, the last thing we want is a deft Dev community. Do you have a job? If so, you can relate to all of this. IF at your said job, you didn't listen to your customers, boss, partners, etc - how far do you think you're going to get as not only an employee, but as a business? Not far. In fact, I'll bet it all that your employer would fire your ass before you ever got to the point of ruining the business's income, name, or reputation. And if it were your business - you'd either find yourself out of business or straighten up real quick. So yea....thanks for coming to work and showing up Dev's....and now it's time to go "above-and-beyond" for the business and your community. That's what I'm waiting for.
