4 RespuestasLongbow, Ltd, 1k Stare, efrideets spear d2 sniper just don’t come close. Supremacy is the closest you’ll get maybe even the dreaming city sniper. Even if they were brought in they would still be not as good just like TLW. Weapon handling has been lowered in general in d2. But then you have oddball weapons like midnight coup that seem to handle better than any d1 hand cannon, could be that I’ve just gotten use to it but fatebringer feels like trash compared to MC.

I was looking at my D1 loadout in Ishtar Legacy and my Warlock had 4 snipers in the special slot - one for each element and one specifically for crucible. (Event Horizon, 1000-yard Stare, LDR, and Devils Dawn.). I loved snipers in D1, especially 1000-Yard - that gun was fun.) I don’t think I have any snipers in use in D2 except whisper. That’s just sad.

Final round body shots were the craziest. At the beginning of each trials round you would hear players emptying out the clip to get down to the last bullet. In D2 I have a Long Shadow with an ADC Rex scope that is a short range combat scope. It is the best PvP sniper I have been able to find as it has Snapshot on its roll.

Why would we want to go back to shit mode where 10/12 people were scoping hallways all match every match?

I'm by no means good with a sniper, but lately been running against players that are pretty good. I think bungie made sniping less forgiving in d2. Good players that can really snipe have gotten good at it, while marginal players still struggle.

Doesn't matter, because they won't be anywhere near as good on D2. This is a place where most good weapons come to die.

1 RespuestaDude i had a LDR 5001 with shortgaze (with option of ambush), snapshot (with option of Quickdraw), last resort and hidden hand. I cant even imagine how good it would be on pc

We’re not just missing the best snipers from D1, D2 snipers feel clunky, spend five minutes on D1 with a sniper and see the difference, they’re so much better.

The kickback from flinch is insane even with enhanced unflinching, base stability on snipers is 30% less across the board, smaller hitbox and crappy target acquisition. You're better off aping

That first year was awesome when double down for ammo was an active perk. I had a Longbow and I think it carried 32. 16 normal and 32 with double down. Of course, then came the double down nullification and the reduction of Sniper ammo across the board.
