Seriously, it's getting way out of hand. I get match made with nothing but idiots who just stand out there in the open and get killed because like I said, they're idiots. The amount of times that invasion is allowed in this mode needs to be reduced. I would actually enjoy this game mode if invasion wasn't spammed infinitely. I dislike PVP and most of the types of assholes it attracts.

The PvP element of Gambit makes it fun...but IMHO the fact is that any side with a decent Invader will usually win no matter how useless the rest of his team are. This is particularly the case with Gambit Prime. i.e PvP elites rule..... which is an issue if its supposed to be a balanced PvP/PvE experience. If i want to get trounced by PvP elites i usualy just go and play Crucible :) My personal solution is to stand with my back to a wall in a confined space with a shotgun.

The next gambit playmode should feature all players fighting against all players on the enemy team, with no buffs at all. Currently as it is I experience an invasion not as 4v1, but 1v1 times 4, with one player having more life and more heavy ammo.
-
Shit gamemode.
-
1 RespuestaI think the enemies on the other side should target the invader. That way it would make it more of a risk-reward situation.
-
1 RespuestaInvasion ruined Gambit before it even launched. What a cancerous mechanic. It sucks all the fun out of the game, and just pisses you off.
-
Just get good. I started invading after i got tired of seeing ny teammates die. Tske the fight too them and watch them burn brotha?

Editado por soulslayer: 4/20/2019 11:09:32 AMas ive already gotten reckoner i can firmly say invading right now is fine except how you can no longer come back if youre behind on summoning prime due to the 40 second between portal on prime stage and the reduced % boss heal per kill. if youre going to whine about pvp i suggest not playing gambit and stick to patrol or strikes.

3 RespuestasEditado por SpamTheDamage: 4/19/2019 5:41:35 PMI think the really rough part is the lack of “reprimand” for invading. In regular gambit, when someone invaded, after they are sent back to the other side, the side that was invaded gets one stack of “primeval slayer”. I love it when people invade me as soon as we summon the primeval - no damage dealt to the boss yet, and we get a free stack when they leave. In prime, invasions can happen without any reprimand, making it less of a gamble when someone jumps through the portal. There is zero downside to invading. Meanwhile, in regular gambit, if you aren’t smart with your invasions while the primeval is up on the enemy team, you’re just going to be feeding them stacks and giving them an advantage if you invade poorly. It’s weird to me that in the more “high stakes” gambit mode you can just mosquito the other team, but in the lower-stakes mode, it’s more important to think about your invasions and when they happen.

You do know you can remove the odds of playing with idiots by just using lfg. Ask for a invader/sentry and done, problem should be solved.
-
Yes please it's utterly ridiculous.
-
The Sentry is meant to handle Invaders, but their perk set from the Sentry armour is so underwhelming that I don't think many people play as them. They're able to mark Invaders if they shoot them, but the marker is so small that it barely helps. Considering Invader armour provides the best perks imo, the Sentry perls should be altered somehow. Like, damaging an Invader, reveals them through walls, just as the Invader can see your team through walls. Or the Invader is slightly weakened to teammate fire after being damaged by the Invader. Honestly though, Sentinel, Collector and Reaper armour could all do with some slight buffs or reworks here and there.

You despise PvP and most of the people it attracts ?? Way to go to alienate a large proportion of the D2 players! I play a bit of PvP so no doubt you despise me. Pity because I kinda agree that invasions need toning down just a little in Gambit to perhaps a max number allowed in the final phase, as an example ... But, since you despise me, despite the fact we’ve never met.. I’ll be on my merry way.

2 RespuestasPersonally I think the frequency is OK, but maybe last stages of gambit prime could use some minor adjustments. More games should mix PvE and PvP. No one is forcing you to play gambit right? Stick to the content you like, and have fun. Also, shove your PvP hate up your ass.
-
Stop playing Destiny 2, The division 1-2, Halo 5 and every other game with pvpve gamemodes then. And stop playing minecraft. It has also pvpve when you play with others.
-
If you don't like it don't play it
-
3 RespuestasRemember you dont have to kill the 3rd wizard asap. You can wait for an invasion then kill the wizard.
-
2 RespuestasI think the invasion cooldown during the boss should increase after each invasion to make sure you make invasions matter instead of just spamming.
-
So because your team is trash everything needs to be brought down to your level? Fine, in comp, its ridiculous that the other team can always just spawn far away when we kill them. They should spawn in front of our faces with their character looking down at the ground and a temporary 10 second supernerf to sensitivity.

Hehe Howdy

It's a PvP/PvE mix, you're literally complaining about half of the game mode. If you hate PvP this much, then you probably shouldn't be playing Gambit. And it's also your own fault if you get matched with dumbasses because you're going into a team-based activity without a team, that's the risk of solo queuing.

1 RespuestaBuff sentry (I barely see it) as its the invader stopper. Buff malfesence and bring more guns like it and arbelest since they are the best of both worlds. Bonus damage vs invaders/shields = mean they shred. Just Malfesence is on the underwhelming side even with that bonus.
-
2 RespuestasI think a failed invasion should heal YOUR primevil. That would make them feel a little more risk VS reward
-
Stop being a baby because you don't have thumbs
-
3 RespuestasBungie was suppose to make a fix and mixed the invader pool....the same person cant repeatedly invade......would work well....and the invader should be randomly placed any where not the usually spots
-
Changing it won't fix anything. As you said it's the randoms on your team that will still blow it every time.
-
If I remember correctly they already reduced it.
