Sony's a bunch of jerks and I would love to take half the salt from these forums and just dump it on Sony's lap. I don't have the time to max out six toons. Being able to move my hunter/titan to PC would be awesome. That way, I can get my brother through a raid!

4 RespuestasI hate Sony and PS. Im a huge Xbox fan and only a Xbox player. Buuuuuuuuut I do think that taking away half the player base is dumb. mines well make it a PS4 exclusive. Destiny 3: PS4 Exclusive Or it should be Xbox exclusive sense your getting Xbox and PC. So honestly Xbox is technically always the better way to go! Sony May be paying. But Xbox being the 2nd most rich company I doubt their holding the bank on Bungie. D3 needs to chose a console to do a exclusive or re need to go to Sony HQ and start Riots!

2 Respuestas1. Sony makes its money selling HARDWARE. Everyone who is pushing to have cross-platform play either want weaken Sony's hardware advantage....or make their money selling SOFTWARE. 2. Sony executive have a LEGAL ("fiduciary") duty to manage the business in a way that maximizes profit fortheir share holders. Otherwise they can be successfully sued for damages. 3. So until cross-play becomes a big enough issue that it begins to affect HARDWARE sales, it is NOT in the interest of Sony to support...and not in the financial interests of their shareholders. Because nothign about cross play promotes the sale and use of PS4s. In fact just the opposite. As you yourself said, cross-saving would have faciliated your leaving PS4 and moving to PC. Which hurts Sony....but does nothng to Bungie. Since they get the money no matter which platform you play the game on. Microsoft and Nintendo aren't supporting it because they want to be "consumer friendly".. They're doing it because they want to take away one of Sony's biggest competitive advantages. They size of their platform player base. Cross play and Cross saving lets them (at worst) tap into and exploit those plaeyrs to their own benefit....at best, actually steall many of them.

I play ps4 and I still agree. F*ck Sony.

1 RespuestaAll you gentlemen’s who -blam-ing Sony you all are kings. Thank you Sony and its exclusive politic are total bs and should be punished!
-
Editado por Gothicword44094: 4/17/2019 11:38:27 PMHopefully one day everyone will come to their senses and boycott everything related to Sony until they stop with their -blam!- exclusives Edit: oh yeah and the constant screw-everyone-except-us-including-the-consumer mentality 🙄😒

6 RespuestasJust do it for Xbox and pc and screw ps4
-
7 RespuestasSony is amazing. Have you seen the exclusives being released.
-
If you take half of the salt of these forum, and put it in the Sony headquarter, then Japan would be sterilize because of all that salt, and there would be a second Dead Sea.
-
Yeah I don't care though.

Editado por Jet Set Willy: 4/16/2019 11:12:38 PMI'd like to see cross platform become the norm. Sony are the roadblock just now but I don't believe that MS would be doing anything different from them if they had the dominant console.
-
Yeah. So? Bungie's greed is total. They aren't exactly /pushing/ sony to let people move their characters cross platform. It would prevent them from being able to sell the same content over and over again.
-
This has been a thing for awhile now.
-
Screw Sony
-
I'm sure if Xbox did the same for halo, sony would talk.

4 RespuestasAnd this is why I have XB1 for my Destiny games because Sony sucks. Never had problems with my XB1. I really don't care about exclusives in my opinion, Bungie shouldn't have made exclusives for Sony in the first place it's not fair to other players. Bungie left Activision so hopefully they will bring exclusive PS4 stuff to the PC and XB1 players just gotta hear word on them but I hope the trend doesn't continue. They take too long to release exclusives to XB1 just look how long it took for them to release PS4 stuff to D1. It's gonna take longer to bring them to PC and XB1 players.

Editado por Cinderchar: 4/16/2019 11:19:09 AMBungie still took the partnership with them. Bungie could have stepped up and said they wouldn’t do business with Sony if they wanted exclusives along with no crossplay. Did Bungie do that though? Nope. Same with Activision. Bungie took that partnership as well. You can blame Bungie just as much as Sony or Activision for the debacle that Destiny has mostly been. Don’t forget that.

3 RespuestasAll of the bad and illegal things Sony have done that ranks pretty low on the list.
-
12 RespuestasGood ol' Sony, can always count on them to make things worse 👍
-
Can you blame them? Don’t have the majority of console sales & majority of destiny2 sales, there’s only a downside to them enabling this.
-
This isn’t new news. Sony won’t allow crossplay because it only benefits their rivals. Windows is the most popular and used operating system for PC. Windows incorporates Xbox into their OS because Microsoft is behind windows and Xbox. Allowing crossplay would only benefit Microsoft.

Editado por wikked75: 4/16/2019 9:43:07 AMOf course bungie would like to do this. It would bolster sales. Youd have to get the game again and buy all the expansions again on another platform For sony, it makes perfect sense not to have it. They really have nothing to gain from it, being as they have more players playing. There really is only a downside for them in this scenario. Id like to see cross save so i can jump on and run some raids with my nephew on xbox, but ultimately, it doesnt matter.
-
Yeah Microsoft proposed the idea of crossplay a long time ago and Sony said no. Simple as that.
-
4 RespuestasEditado por GrundleBeans: 4/16/2019 3:15:39 AMI think we've known Sony was the one not allowing cross-over for the past few years. This is not actually new news. I know I've had conversations about it before here, around the time of TTK or RoI.

3 RespuestasWelcome to the glorious world of capitalism. Bungie needed/wanted money, Sony stepped up with cash and conditions. The hard truth of the matter is that life isn't always fair. Deal with it, accept it or try to change it, learn from it.

3 RespuestasThan why doesn't Xbox an PC have it than, hmmmmm
