There's a serious issue when a high-velocity grenade explodes in your face and you shake it off like it's nothing but one shotgun round or one Fusion blast can take you down.
Since I've started the Mountaintop Quest I've begun to realize how bad this archetype of weapon is.
Make it so a direct hits are more consistent 1 hit ko's.

I have Orewing's Maul with Spik grenade. I noticed in multiple games and in multiple playlists that sometimes even if you hit an enemy direct hit, it doesn't kill the enemy. that shot will cause 50 or random damage if not even cause any damage. anyone...?

4 RespuestasAbsolutely not. They ALREADY one hit and unlike a shotgun, you don't have to take nearly as much risk to get a kill. You can even bounce them around corners. Practice more, Dude.

6 RespuestasThey’ve become remarkably inconsistent due to constant nerfing. Concussion Grenades were disgusting when they had impressive blast Radius, so they nerfed that. Proximity detonation Grenades were relatively consistent one hits, so those were nerfed, I think twice. It’s essentially made it to where the only good single shots are Mountaintop with Spike Grenades And Fighting Lion. Fighting Lion doesn’t OHK but it is consistent, usually about 144 on a solid hit.

1 RespuestaShoot 2 rounds from your hand cannon and then switch and profit, its not that hard. As for the buffs... idk, do we really need another reason to add another one shot kill weapon? As if shotguns weren’t enough

Again, they do 1 hit on impact. 182 for the detonation 20 for a impact. 202 is enough to kill high res guardians.

A sweet spot detonation does 182, a direct hit does 20(52 with sticky & cant remember exactly but with spike but its 80+-), 202 is enough to 1 shot. The hit detection is the problem. I noticed that spike grenade and sticky make them more consistend. But i would love a small buff to the sweet spot detonation of 6-12damage. I love grenadelaunchers, triple launchers is my favorite loadout in pvp.

I've been using Orewing's Maul with Proximity Grenades for a while (yes I know it can't one-hit from full health, it's a great finisher though) and, almost every game, I'll land a hit on a shotgun ape and they'll take either no damage or significantly less than the 177 they're supposed to take from a proximity grenade. Feels like they get to just run through the explosion. If the grenade explodes due to proximity, then surely it should always do roughly the same damage, because it's always exploding at the same distance away from the enemy? Just 10 more Double Plays and I can stop forcing myself to use GLs and use a different Heavy Weapon than Play of the Game.

3 RespuestasI've been grinding the GL kills for Mountaintop most of the week. Atm I'm only 3 calculated trajectory medals away from finishing the whole quest. But yea, it has been a salty journey. GLs seem very inconsistent.

Fighting lion it doesnt meed to one shot it takes some learning but its one of the best guns you can keep entire teams trapped just having a good fighting lion player

Easy fix:grenade explode on impact on any surface unless you hold the trigger Increase the magazine size to 2

bump. i hate having to waste 3 shots on 1 guy because it explodes either in front of them or it direct hits but only takes down his shield...only way to get kills is to Tether which if you're not a hunter you're kinda -blam!-ed.

I swear I've accidentally killed myself with them more than enemies.

3 RespuestasIt is a 1 hit. They are just difficult to use like they should be. Getting kind of annoying that people want all these 1 hit weapons to be unbelievably easy. 1 hit weapons are supposed to take talent and skill. That’s why we are in the awful meta we are in; Shotguns are easy one shots that take very little skill. Just practice with it because I one shot people all day with grenade launchers.
