Of course they count. That’s why they earn glory points for it. You can tell the system is a mess when it’s better strategy to not play the game to get the points you need to reach your goal. I know you think I’m being unfair to the damsel in distress poor Bungie, but if you think about it, your advice just shows a flaw in their system.

No it doesn't. It's a smart decision and takes advantage of the bonuses the game gives you. No one can predict how a game will go, so this ensures your goal

Stop explaining why the system is bad, it’s bad. You’re encouraging someone to earn their rewards by not playing the playlist. That’s bad. It’s better to not play than lose a game and lose so many points you have to win too many games in a row without a loss to recover them in a system where: -If you have a network error from crappy P2P connections you lost points. -If you have teamates who leave the game you lose points. -if you get matchmade against a team of much higher glory players NF and your team is low glory players you lose points. - If your opponents use network manipulation against you, you lose points. -Your team has a bad game and you lose points. Blindly defending every aspect of the game because you like it in general makes you look irrational.
