Titans and Warlocks always complained about not having a ranged melee attack like Hunters: They get new melee abilities in Forsaken.
Reaction: “It’s balanced. No harm done.”
Hunters ask for a ohk ability like Titans and Warlocks: Get an exotic that lets them get a ohk ability when taking melee damage
Reaction: “WTF BUNGIE!!! THIS IS SO UNBALANCED AND VERY MUCH BROKEN!!!”
His point was the constant hypocrisy he sees coming from Titan and Warlocks mains. They think it’s balanced to ask for and get whatever they want from the Hunter arsenal, but when Hunter mains do the same thing, it’s the end of the world and shouldn’t be allowed.
Update: Look at all those salty Titans and Warlocks. Also, can you people try reading a bit more carefully. It’s kinda getting annoying having to explain something I specifically say in the post

4 RespuestasEditado por DuBChiri2: 4/9/2019 9:23:41 PMYou said hypocrisy, but hunters used to say back stab wasn't broken when it activated in the front and tried to justify it's power by comparing it to shoulder charge. Besides this though, the properties of the throwing knife and the slide uppercut that the hunters have that they asked for to one shot work vastly different and in a significantly less restrictive manner to be used than compared to the titans or even the warlocks. The slide uppercut can hit multiple people and it doesn't require a set duration of sprinting or wind up to use. Throwing knives also could be chained for multi kills while having no set up besides aiming straight. It's not smart to grant what your friend asks for unless they are given the same properties, because a near instant kill on the uppercut with multi kill potential or the chain knife killing would be broken. But this is just my take on it, I have no real idea on how it might work out. I can use shoulder charge as a close example and even shoulder charge is really only good for low tier comp but that's only because it's a point blank melee attack with tracking. The uppercut isn't the same way. There's a lot more to getting what you want than just asking for it. With crucible in mind, the breaking of balance can be very easy, and with how the two commonly requested melees work...i could see an issue. Warlocks and titans have been asking for a thrown melee, but their melees don't change the game or shift balance at all, giving hunters a one hit WOULD shift balance, for better or for worse. Keep in mind a LOT of people on here will bitch about literally anything regardless of the class. It could be asking to buff something that absolutely sucks like pre-buff bottom tree sunbreaker did but people kicked and screamed about just the idea of it. "No, titans already have good stuff." I personally haven't died to liars handshake and honestly it probably wouldn't bother me as it's not too much different than ac/d 0 feedback fence and its an exotic.

I love how they prove your point without knowing it...well this is getting awkward,”time to hit the ol dusty trail”!

.....Yeah I can see how I'm a hypocrite. But how many of you guardians can admit to it?

Thought his was supposed to be a funny post......

12 RespuestasIf he was talking about the throwing knife OHK, that would be BS, not going to get a ranged OHK ability.

9 RespuestasThe warlock "melee" is a close range grenade attack that has a chance to kill the user. You have to charge it up and walk around super slow to use it. I'd be okay with a OHK throwing knife, if you have to charge it up and throw it at a walking speed; but that's not what Hunters are asking for.

1 RespuestaWait, so is your friend not normally funny and you are shocked that he brought up a funny point?
