Are you serious. Are you SERIOUS?! HOW IS THIS A DISCUSSION WHEN YOU SILENCE THE COMMUNITY, IGNORE WHAT THEY SAY, AND BLATANTLY COPY PASTE THE SAME RESPONSE WE’VE ALL HEARD?!!!
This is beyond tone deaf. This is defiance beyond belief. Absolutely ridiculous, CHILDISH behavior from what’s supposed to be a quality game producer.

Are you sure? Because I don’t know what game you’re playing, but when a large part of a casual to mid level player’s time is spent scraping together enough cores to even stand the visual appearance of their Guardian, only to have the power cap raised every three months or so? It might not BREAK the game in your opinion and others, it just RUINS it.
CORES. ARE. A. CHORE. There is NOTHING fun about grinding for cores.

ITS NOT JUST A CHORES ITS POINTLESS. WHY CANT WE JUST HAVE FUN!?! WE ARE THE ONES THAT PAID FOR THE GAME AND WE CANT USE WHAT WE WANT?

It’s not ENTIRELY pointless. I’d be more than happy to grind cores... if they were MASTERWORK cores. Not enhancement cores. Masterworking is a beneficial and dynamic aspect to the game, a positive implementation since its debut in Year 1. It all went wrong when they shoved them in infusion thanks to hardcore hardcores like Gothalion (which is funny to me, considering Goth is only in the top 6% of player with around 780 hours or so on PC. I personally have almost 1,000 hours more playtime and yet Bungie looks to people like him for game direction 🙄) “I like really grindy games” headass.

500 THOUSAND. That's how many less players are playing PvE a day vs this point in every other D2 content release. At this point it seems like they just don't want to admit they were wrong.

Considering what a lot of people are saying who have given up or dramatically cut their playtime down (myself included). I’d say it IS a game breaking issue.

Consider the reward for that grind. Pinnacle Weapons are a grind and a half, but the weapons are often worth it. Core grinding is to be able to infuse, a basic component of Destiny since Taken King. Big difference between earning new, awesome loot and dragging up your favorite loot time and time again.

Again it’s called grinding for a reason. Everyone who’s bitching about cores is still playing the game.... so why should they fix it!?

Because they’re not enjoying their time online like they should. An unrewarding grind is not fun. People only commit to it in hopes of overcoming it and getting to do what they want with their time and cores. Such as Masterworking gear and not having to worry about looking like a Walmart brand Power Ranger.

I cant say i see bungie as a “quality dev” not when they continue to artificially lengthen gameplay so they can get out of making quality games.

Right. As of right now i plan on destiny (the first one, when i had people to actually play with) being a once fond memory. Knowing bungie the way i do, after over 5000 hours of destiny, i could never trust them again, regardless of the hype they plan to unleash. I will play what i paid to play and finally move on.

You are also being childish by ignoring the many different tips and advice to manage the current core economy, and instead complaining because “you don’t wanna!”.

Tips and advice huh? Do tell. Perhaps not infusing anything until I’m max light? Run around looking like I robbed a galactic Goodwill and slapped it all on with duct tape and zip ties? Not use exotics because they’re at too low light? Maybe pulling from collections so my exotics are only twenty levels below my current. Or maybe grinding Spider bounties, sitting around waiting for an HVT for... 5-10 minutes? Doing literally nothing but stare at my screen waiting for a little line of text in the bottom left? Or as I stated, use all my legendary shards to buy Simulation seeds from Spider, hop on over to Osiris’ fanboy and throw more seeds at him than batteries at the Forges. Waste time repeatedly dismantling and dismantling and dismantling in hopes of getting one little glowing orange shard. Take a trip out of my way every single day I log in and throw 30+ shards at Spider just to infuse a single piece of gear. Two cores for thirty shards. Ridiculous. Or as I said, I could go shove my Legend of Acrius up the Blood Cleaver’s behind and repeatedly ruin his entire week, over and over and over and over in hopes that I can dismantle and dismantle and dismantle and dismantle and ah. Finally get that little crystallized cancer. No. Thank. You. That’s not a game. That’s a job. I’m gonna do what I find fun in the game. What Bungie did right. And if they seriously think that they’re making a good game by throwing a roadblock in front of people to keep them from enjoying how they look doing what they do and using exotics they need? No. Absolutely not.

Exactly. “I don’t wanna!” Ps, unless you are doing the highest level content, you don’t need to be any more than 20-30 levels above the content.

That’s lovely. T3 Reckoning, best Farm for Prime Weapons (which makes no sense) is recommended 690. I want to enjoy the game. That’s the essence of a game. If you enjoy doing the same exact thing over and over and over without any joy in it, then I don’t know what to say. I play Destiny to have fun. If there’s a rewarding grind, like Pinnacle Weapons or other loot (you’ll notice the keyword LOOTER SHOOTER) when one of the biggest grinds in the game is to be able to use gear you already own, and have maxed out before, just to do it again, that’s a terrible, boring game. If they’re going to keep cores in infusion, it should be limited to exotics. Exotic shards don’t exist in D2, and cores would be a feasible substitute. Not this.

Oh boy, I can’t wait till BL3 to read all the destiny players complaining about how they have to grind to reaquire gear they already got 20 lvl earlier because infusion doesn’t exist.

Different game. Different loot system. Not a problem. This is purely a Destiny problem.

I don’t plan on purchasing BL3 for a long time. Many Destiny fans are hesitant to buy into any more looter shooters, considering the nightmare this core issue is and how badly Anthem flopped. Heard Division is okay though. Might investigate.

The divison 2 is actually fantastic. I've put over 50 hours into it already and I've thoroughly enjoyed every minute I spent playing. Solo or otherwise.
