Will Not Forgotten ever be available for normal players?
I played competitive a lot. Like over 2100 games but I am not that good to ever get a Not Forgotten the way Bungie made it.
I really love hand cannons and the Not Forgotten is the best hand cannon normal players are never able to play with.
That sucks! Make it available for regular players too and move on to a new 5500 reward! Same for Luna. Bungie did it for Redrix. Just give the people who made it to 5500 a special Not Forgotten emblem and 2100 a Luna emblem.

My objection on it is that most people who got it got it by:
- Recov
- Cheating/ddossing
- Win trading with routers that can be set on region so they can match up with people they know all the time and the trade wins
So what would it matter if there would be a long grinding Redrix like quest for it! At least these people deserve it themselves! Recovs, cheating and ddossing is not necessary anymore. Crucible will be a happier place again!

Just checked LFG at least 4 teams already doing a comp cheese/glitch.

3 RespuestasI would have agreed with you until this season. They doubled the glory scoring which almost cuts the grind in half. I’m no God at PVP but I got to ~2700 by myself today and that’s after a month away from the game. It’s much easier now, so I think it’s perfectly fair how it is.

I don’t have not forgotten but I can see the logic from both sides. Obviously hitting 5500 is a major grind that requires a high level of skill if you do it legit and if you did that you have my respect. However since recoveries, win trading and ddos can also get you not forgotten there are people who have the gun who shouldn’t. For most people though, they aren’t ever going to hit legend or maybe even fabled so crucible isn’t something they are going to go into willingly because they know they can’t compete because they don’t have the meta. This lowers the crucible population. I like the idea of pinnacle weapons but unfortunately Luna and not forgotten hurt crucible on console as a whole. Say what you will about destiny 1 but at least everyone could obtain the top crucible weapons. It’s not like just obtaining LH or NF makes you an automatic god, and those people who hit 5500 are still going to wreck in crucible against lower skilled players. I’d love to have a civil discussion from legit not forgotten players about what they think should be done.

GTFOH you're more than a normal player, so it shouldn't be THAT hard for you to get. I'm a chump compared to your stats, and you don't see me bitching that I can't get Not Forgotten. Do I want the gun? Hell yea I do, but I don't want it handed to me through a seperate quest because I can't make it to 5500. Shit, I'm having a tough time getting over 700 glory, but I'm learning to get better and pushing on. These guns should stay where they're at.

1 RespuestaGetting my Recluse on Tuesday, Luna’s isn’t far off from that and I’m going for Not Forgotten after. Sure, I want to use it but to me NF is more of a trophy (for those who got it legit) than a weapon. Hitting 5500 will not be easy tho lol 🤷🏻♂️

I won’t be acquiring the NF or Luna any time soon as I’m not skilled enough. If I wanted it, I’d grind out comp. Same goes for 1000 voices. I don’t raid therefore I know I’m not going to acquire that fun either. I don’t expect it to be handed to me in such an easy fashion where others had to grind for it with other like-minded Guardians. If I wanted either weapon, I’d go to LFG and find a team. That’s how most people got the gun. Put on the time and effort if you can. Good luck out there Guardian !

Nahh their both meant to be a grind deal with it. It’s unfair to everyone else who worked their ass off for it and yes that goes for all comp pinnacle weapons. Get a good team learn how to play as is and re think your statement.

Pinnacle Weapons shouldn't even have requirements to obtain, just give them out as soon as the DLC is released. Gotta give out those participation tropies 👍

Not Forgotten isn't all that much better than Luna. You could argue Luna is better because of the higher stability, which helps a lot. Or you could burst your ass and waste 3000+ Vanguard Tokens and get a "god roll" Service Revolver with range Masterwork and that's essentially the stepping stone between Luna and NF.

It'll probably get put into the pool after the next game installment. It's a forsaken gun. Whenever the next year's base game is released, it'll get thrown into a general crucible quest.
