1 RespuestaIt's a good flawed game. Best way I can describe it. Gameplay is great, story is passable, and it isn't a microtransaction filled hell. But it does need more content and to finally conclude the loot drop rate instead of tweaking it every other week. In Bioware standards, the story doesn't hold up to their old work. Like for a games as a service the story is great, but for a Bioware game, just lacks the caliber of Dragon Age and Mass Effect. So like I said, a good flawed game.

I bought the game at launch and am having a lot of fun playing it. i love the gameplay. I flip between Anthem and D2 and other games. Don't get me wrong, the game has it's issues and fixes that need attention, but as someone said below. A lot of the problems you hear about the game are exaggerated. That'snot saying the problems aren't there, they are, but they aren't as bad as everyone else makes them out to be. My biggest gripe with the game are the occasional crashes and loading into bugged missions. The frequency at which Masterwork and Legendaries drops needs some attention, but it isn't game breaking. Ultimately, just make the decision for yourself. Whether or not people say yes or no, or give you their opinion, if you really want it, go buy it. If you don't, then don't buy it. Simple. If you do, then have fun!

For the love of all that is holy and all the twinkies in the world, stay far, FAR away from Anthem. I have never been so disappointed with a game in my life. On top of the game having a lot of bugs and having a lot of server issues, there is a massive lack of content that is very noticeable. Once you beat the game, all you have left to do is contracts, and a total of 3 strongholds, one being trash, and one being a copy of a story mission. The story is also very uninteresting and boring. All the game has that is good, is the flight and ability mechanics. If you're going to give it a shot, I'd say wait at the very least, for probably around 6 months, hopefully the game is worth it then.

Can't answer that question for you. I can tell you this. 1. The game's problems have been exaggerated. Partly because its cool to hate high profile games...and partly because its cool to hate EA. 2. BioWare has patched 90-95% of the stability problems out of the game. The biggest issue right now is BioWare is trying to tune the end-game loot issue. Which---since this is their first game of this sort---I can understand why they are moving slowly. Which grates against our "I want it NOW, and should have had it YESTERDAY" culture. 3. The gameplay: a. The feel of flying and fighting in a Javelin is glorious. b. The game world is beautiful. Especially if you have a high-end console or PC. c. The game play is REALLY fun and really unique if you understand a couple of things that BioWare could have done a better job of explaining. One: FLYING IS A FUNDAMENTAL PART OF COMBAT. if you try to fight "boots on the ground" or try to play it as a cover shooter (Mass Effect, The Division) you will get frustrated. The game assumes you will make use of your high mobility and speed to escape danger. Two: Its more of a "super hero" game than a shooter. YOU ARE IRON MAN. The "rhythm of combat" isn't like Destiny or Halo where you spam your guns...and then save your abilities for big plays. he game is designed for you to spam your abilities...and then do damage with your guns to fill in while you wait for your abilities to come off cooldown. I play as a Storm...and the feeling of hovering over the battle field and flying close-air support like an Apache Longbow helicopter gunship is like nothing else. I've also experimented with the Interceptor Javelin. Which is jsut as fun...but very different. Its like being one part Ninja...one part Ant-Man/Yellow Jacket. As you lean into the hit-and-run play style suited for its very high mobility and light armor. 4. Its end-game problems are overblown. The game is not like Destiny....where you blitz thorugh the campaign....and then all that content becomes irrelevant while you grind a few "end-game" activities over and over again. The game is designed like Diablo 3. Where you complete the game.....go up in difficulty....and then grind the entire game again.....then go up in difficulty again.. ..all while you're grinding for more and better rewards. The only people having "end game" problems are those who don't understand that the ENTIRE game is 'end-game relevanat". So they just keep grinding the Strongholds over and over again...and burn themselves out. Also those who have played enough to fully Masterwork a javelin. That will put you at about Grandmaster 2 leve....adn the game is about grinding for Legendaries at that point. THIS part of the game wasn't ready for release yet. BioWare wanted to hold it back...but felt forced to release it at launch because negative publicity was already gearing up and gainin momentum. 5. BioWare is laying the foundation for a very good game. They just need to iron out the loot-system and economy issues I'm mentioned. They've fixed the stability issues....and the game play is really good if you lean into how the game was designed to be played. Bottomline. Loot at The Division 2, and all the praise its getting right now. Anthem is---right now---a better game than The Division 1 was at launch. BioWare is---right now----doing all the right things that turned The Division 1 into a good game, and made The Division 2 a good game at launch. But they're doing them NOW, whereas it took Massive and Ubisoft 6 months of flounderign to get their act together....and then another YEAR to fix problems that run much deeper than the ones that Anthem is dealing with. Hope this helps.

Editado por Uncanny_Vale: 3/19/2019 2:42:30 AMI’d wait until they fix all the problems. There’s a lot of bugs, a lot of loot problems, a lot of quality of life stuff that needs work and a general lack of content at the moment. The game feels unfinished - which is surprising considering how long they worked on it. The core gameplay is fun but I stopped playing a week after it released because there really isn’t much to do in the game. If you are looking for a solid looter shooter I recommend getting The Division 2 instead. The difference between the two games is night and day. Although I prefer the core gameplay of Anthem the Division 2 is just an overall better experience. The gameplay is solid and there is a mountain of quality content compared to Anthem. The world is detailed and rich. It’s polished and relatively bug free. Even though the gameplay loop is the same throughout, they do a good job making each mission feel unique and fresh. Each mission is really well designed (even the side missions). The loot progression and levelling feel so much more satisfying than Anthem. It rains loot and it all feels great. And this is from someone who didn’t like The Division 1.

It’s fun and has a cool story but first time content doesn’t last too long. It doesn’t take long to get to the point where you’re grinding the same missions.

1 RespuestaNo. It's bad. And if you play on ps4 it could get bricked

Wait at least until may when the cataclysms drop. I personally can't imagine only having 3 strongholds to do for months. It sounds more tedious than Destiny.

2 RespuestasIf you want a fun game for a week or 2? Go right ahead. If you want a fun game for the next few months? eh...

Definitely not. The Iron Man flying is cool and all, but the rest of the game isn’t, and there isn’t a ton of content.
