It feels like bungie are not even bothering to listen to us so we can be satisfied by their game. Its starting to feel like they’re doing what they want to the game now and it’s just -blam!- how we feel and what we want as a community to get done.

I’ve never really posted what I want from this game, but I do argue with what I don’t like when provoked. Unfortunately, is it even worth it at this point? Someone will find a way to say I’m unworthy of opinion

47 RespuestasTo be clear. Bungie did not buy the ip from activision because they wanted creative control. Bungie bought destiny from Activsion because after yet another failed release in the form of forsaken, Activision had begun the process of permanently removing Bugnie as developer due to incompetence and poor developmental vision. Also probably laziness. Once off the project, Bungie would have collapsed into bankruptcy before they could find another game to sustain them selves. Activision left them the option to buy the IP from them because finding a new developer to take Destiny in a better direction would have cost time and money on a project they no longer believe viable. Bungie was there for forced under threat of impending financial collapse to buy the ip, at any cost, which given Activision knew they had no choice was probably significant, just to keep in business. People who think that Bungle wanted this.... "For creative control"... Have no idea how the publishing industry works. Publishers are a completely different industry than developer, one that Bungie is not competent to operate in. Publishing a game costs millions of dollars in advertising, licensing fees, the whole deal, which makes it very likely that Bungie will try to consolidate destiny 1 and destiny 2 in some way, and rebrand back to simply being "destiny", where they can spend a relatively small amount of money advertising new content every six months to a year without having to advertise a whole new game. But make no mistake. Bungie and it's executives did not choose this, did not want this, had no choice but this. And it's mostly down to their desperate focus to appease 5% of the player base who are fanatical no life try hards and screw everyone else. Bungie screwed them selves by creating an atmosphere where you feel ignored. And it's probably going to lead them into financial ruin eventually. Either way. Do not expect a "Destiny 3" by that name. I don't think you're going to get it. As I said what you'll probably see is a consolidation of the IP with annual or biannual updates. It's cheaper that way and Bungie has to do waht's going to be cheapest for them.

10 RespuestasUnless you're datto or byf Or who the hell ever still makes videos about this game bungie doesn't care. Someone needs to make a stream and just bitch about destiny on it. I'll follow that then maybe bungie will listen.

726 and no response yet? Damn. Point proven

We aren't listening ~ Bungie

People might making jokes on Anthem/Bioware, but they are the designers who keep their ears open and trying very hard to keep players satisfied.

Not enough community engagement considering there are dedicated community staff working at Bungie. One of 2 people say the same thing, we'll pass this along to the team. If i can scour the forums a few times a day to see what is trending, I'm sure the damn staff there can do the same and actually engage with the community instead of the copy paste responses and no follow ups. All of the feedback seems ignored, especially after the last patch notes were posted. Not one person thought to themselves.. yeah this is what the game needs right now. Blindsided by unexpected nerfs and changes. Even they've admitted to playing games from other developers, which is not ok. If i were working at Bungie in any capacity, i'd be totally devoted to playing my games only. That might be fan boy logic or it may be loyalty. If only we had more feedback from the faces we know from the ViDocs, more engagement, more personal replies and responses and more importantly let us know what's going on at Bungie on the Bungie forums and in the game. not everyone has time to monitor the forum, twitter, twitch, reddit and youtube account everyday to know what's going on.

Friendly bump! Making sure Cosmo and dmg get the message. Over 700 upvotes and this post is ignored? Just proves out point.

Bungie has for years been saying they are going to be more transparent with players and put out more information regarding current issues and future content. However, they still don’t communicate with us about the issues that are continuously brought up, nor do they give us a clear path to what the games future is or plans. Sure they release what they call a “road map” to future content, but it is completely generic with fancy nonsense names “Arc week ect..” with no descriptors or further info. I truly believe, if Bungie would just release more detailed information on what their plans are for the future of the franchise and what the ultimate goal is, we would all be more understanding and patient with current issues and aforementioned content. A fancy bells and whistles game trailer, a colorful and a fancy worded road map with pictures, and a few posts from Cosmo ect... isn’t real information that provided any substance to what the game is going to be or can be. It’s propaganda and a flashy sales pitch to get us to buy into the game and content that isn’t really what it appears to be. Destiny has a huge cult following and massive fan base that transcends into many people loving the game regardless of all of its flaws. I say this, because I am what you’d describe as “one of them fan boys” who loves the game and Destiny world. Destiny is my crux, it’s my vise, my guilty pleasure, or what ever you’d like to call it, to escape the stresses of the world. When I log into the game, I can get lost in it for hours. I love all things Destiny and buy all things Destiny. But, for the life of me cannot figure out why Bungie continues to be so distant and secretive with its future plans and content. With all of the social media platforms, streamers, instagrams, gaming blogs, YouTube, magazines and internet, Bungie has many tools at their disposal to release details regarding current player issues, concerns and plans. They on many occasions stated they would be more transparent and communicate with players, however they fail at every turn. If they would spend a little bit of time to explain what they are doing, what their plans are, what their thought process is on the decisions they make, updates they make, and changes they make, the community would be more understanding and able to see their point of view, and at that point either agree or disagree with said changes. But at least you’d know the “whys and how’s” other than simply assuming. You can google, research, type, search, watch countless websites and read blog articles, that offer no further details or information. Not even the bloggers, gaming magazine writers, streamers know anything. The more information, the more details, the more point of views shared by the content creators the better! The whole “we are listening, we are watching, we will pass on the info to the team” posts just arnt working. It’s a one sided conversation that leads to a toxic community that does nothing but vent to each other about issues, concerns and problems because we have no where else to turn. No where else to obtain further information and no where else to attain the info we all would like to have. It’s the blind leading the blind in these forums. Which, in part leads to a lot of toxic posts and distain. We all love Bungie and the game, otherwise we wouldn’t be here. But damn, this is so old and repetitive and tiresome with Bungie repeatedly releasing the same ole “we’re listening” garbage..... Gently stepping down off my soap-box now, carry on.... lol... :)

No, I feel they concentrating at pissing off the bulk of remaining players with bad decisions and shit content.
-
I think 792 upvotes on a thread about people feeling like the company that makes this game doesn't care about them... that has been ignored... says everything. I quit playing in June because Bungie started catering to content creators.
-
Duh of course they are ignoring us, because their motto is “-blam!- you this is our game and we are always -blam!-ing right!” Been like this since year 3 d1 after they -blam!-ed pvp because most people hated dying to special weapons because they were to “overpowered” it didn’t help that the gameplay of the pvp devs showed they were merely average at best

1 RespuestaAnyone else notice how BioWare listens to their consumers?
-
Welp, over 700 people feel ignored, and the OP got called a whiner in the beginning. Guess all 700plus of us are whiners too.
-
I feel ignored by Bungie because they didn’t hire me yet.
😂
-
If bungie listened to everyone, this game would be beyond horrible. Are their things that it seems they ignore, yes. "Is bungie listening", is a blanket statement, everyone uses, and not true. They just have selective hearing which I'm fine with.
-
3 RespuestasAfter your conclusions, are you still going to buy their next product, give them your money and continue to complain: ‘they aren’t listening to me’? Or. Walk away, like you already know you should have a long time ago, but didn’t because game plays so well despite Bungie’s efforts to BF you without Vaseline? Which will it be??? ...Inquiring minds want to know...
-
I don't feel like I'm ignored by Bungie, I know Bungie ignores me. And guess what? Bungie puts your stupid sorry ass in the same category as mine. The only difference is I play other games. Lmfao at you

1 RespuestaStarting? People who are just realizing now are the reason this game is so shit.

Anyone else notice the throttling of XP??

2 RespuestasIt's OK. I've been completely ignoring them back the last five months.

5 RespuestasHere is something that might scare bungie..... borderlands 3. The game they kinda copied. Rumored to be out at the end of the month and borderlands 2 dlc to come out to introduce the borderlands 3 story. AS LONG AS THEY DONT SELLOUT THE BORDERLANDS IP. And it’s decent it will be better than all this garbage out here. DESTINY, ANTHEM, DIVISION. They might have no choice but listen. Hoping borderlands 3 will introduce something new for everyone to copy again also....
