I spent 4 hours today and I alone liked posts, created my own posts and replied to comments 30 times or more. I don't need a cookie, a pat on the back or anything else I just want to put a bit of perspective on things.
How many copy and paste responses do you see from Cozmo and DMG in the forums a day? 5 total? Why is that?
For community leaders or whatever they are, do they not see the problem? You have a forum BUNGIE created yet you'll see a Twitter or Reddit response before you'll see anything on here.
To Cozmo and DMG if by some magic you see this (which I doubt) don't respond to this post, respond to smaller forum posts about your game not just this specific post that is just pointing out what, I believe, should already be done. Pin comments and posts from players, ask the community more about their thoughts on certain things occurring in game, create a poll before some changes and ask for opinions, actually address problems the community feel strongly about instead of cherry picking what you think is trending...
Shotguns need counter weapons not nerfs: sidearms, smgs and swords. Non-exotic swords need another slot. I never see any of them used on console. Nerfing fun stuff from the classes isn't fun, just bring other stuff up to that level of fun.
As a warlock main, exotics feel like there's only 7 or 8 actual choices and the 14 or 15 others were left behind in useless land. Same probably goes for hunters and titans I'm sure.
Enhancement Cores for whatever reason isn't popular in the community but Masterwork Cores were - maybe roll back that decision so you can reroll the stat boost what you're looking for especially after it takes a while to find the random roll weapon you were going for.
Add heavy synths or banners or just give full ammo on wipe for old raids because the ammo perks on armor DO NOT WORK for older raids.
There's plenty of other things but I can't remember it all at this moment, try surfing through YOUR FORUM to see for yourself.
Edited: grammatical errors.

1 RespuestaLeave the BUNGIE employees alone. They're busy trying to find their next job. The last thing they need is someone like you shining a spotlight on their not being around while interviewing.

We will pass this on to the Dev Team. Thanks.

1 Respuesta4 hours on a video game forum? You need a job.

1 RespuestaBut typing a actual response is hard! I mean it takes alot of effort to lift a finger and press a couple of buttons. And you want him to respond to criticism? They would rather respond to a unfunny destiny meme post from a unfunny normie on reddit.

Looks like some dmg control is needed.

6 RespuestasNo one uses swords because shot guns sit out side of power ammo and one shot swords from like 3x sword range. Why would anyone use a sword? And that right there is the problem with shotguns. Bungie learned nothing from D1.

5 RespuestasAs someone who’s done everything Leviathan has to offer even through a Flawless Regular Leviathan run, I can tell you 100% that the “melee to get heavy ammo” does work. It’s irritating doing ammo runs and having to punch everything, but it does work as intended. Certainly not opposed to Raid Banners on Leviathan but just want to correct on that. I could see them doing a Hard Mode Leviathan in Year 3 with Raid Banners.

2 RespuestasCould be completely wrong, but I feel that they choose to stay primarily on Reddit because environment there is substantially less toxic. Having been a part of the Destiny subreddits for about 6 months, and this forum since TTK, I feel like the people on the subreddit seem to actually enjoy this game while people on the forum just.. don’t. Ever since I joined the various subreddits, I’ve found myself on this forum less and less. Should that be the way it is? Maybe not, but I understand exactly why they spend so much time on the subreddit compared to the forum.

2 RespuestasPpl get real serious about having a diverse set of weapons and get on Bungie about ppl using meta constantly. The fact is you can use all kinds of different weapons in this game and do great- except for smg’s/ sidearms (riskrunner is actually amazing in pve though) but pretty much everything else has something to offer that can be used in pve and pvp. You might not get a 50 kill game with them all but you can maintain high k/d’s if you use them properly. I can tell you for a fact that if you play any other popular shooter game you will be using the same exact loadout every time because the weapons don’t have that ability. There is usually just one weapon that works really well in that game and everything just doesn’t really work. Bungie doesn’t get enough credit for the, let’s call it personality, that they give each weapon. From bows to autos to fusion rifles pretty much anywhere to even scout rifles on equinox or snipers on vostok. There is a lot more than just hand cannons and shotguns that you can have great games with. They all have a unique way to be used and that makes this game have the most diverse Armory than any other game.

What would you like them to do when the forums are full of people writing the same exact things? They only need to respond to one, because people will see it.
-
I get what you’re saying and I wish we would get more responses too. However, there is a reason they only post/comment so little. If they have no information to give on whether or not certain changes or implementations will be happening, they really can’t say anything else other than their copy/paste, “We’re sending this feedback back to the devs.” That is their job. To relay information back and forth from the community to the devs and vice versa. When what we’ve said has been sent to the devs over and over, there really is not much point to keep saying the same thing. Once they have solid info to give us on whether or not requested changes are being made, then they can let us know. I see what you mean that it’s be nice to see what They think of the changes being requested, but it gets very political. Say the devs are working on changing something but it will take some time or other more concerning issues happen or it has to be delayed, people would hold them accountable and we would be even more mad. In essence, I completely understand the people’s grievances, but not everyone can be addressed between duplicates, multiple platforms, protocol, politics, and knowledge in general. Would totally love to see more communication like we did just before Forsaken, but within reason. I appreciate your post and would like those at Bungie to re-evaluate how they communicate with everyone. PS: Just thought I’d point out that Bungie does communicate a lot more and listen a lot more to community suggestions than most other companies. Changes happen because We request them (not all the time but a lot) and so much work is put into it. Most other developers go by their own roadmaps and do what They want to do more. So for this, I am very appreciate that Bungie does take the time to listen to what we have to say. Even if they don’t always respond.

1 RespuestaLike you I've played the forums more than the game.
-
26 RespuestasAlso, quick perusal of DMG and Cozmo's Twitter feeds shows that they are MUCH more communicative there than on here, which kind of makes you wonder why this forum exists in the first place, if 90 percent of their communication with the actual players is on Twitter.

Editado por DuBChiri2: 2/27/2019 6:25:30 PMOnly 4 hours...? Looks like we've got a lightweight 🤣 I know how you feel though. It genuinely doesn't matter what most of us say even if it's true because there's a good chance it just gets brushed aside. It's honestly disappointing when you try to put in so much effort to make a good post and it won't get anything, but a stupid satire post will rocket up to the top. I know this from experience. Even serious things that are up there just get ignored most of the time. I understand it's hard to be a community manager for a place so secretive, but it's getting old.

1 RespuestaWhen Bungie nerfed the exotic drop rate, it also nerfed the response rate on the forums.
-
3 RespuestasAh yes the snowflake syndrome. Cozmo and Dmg, if you read this, please think nothing of it. I know everyone thinks their own ideas are important, but you don't have to bother developers with shotgun complaints, nerfing muh warlock, and cores are too hard to get. Use your internal data, not 100+ crybabies angrily stomping through threads on the forums.

1 RespuestaResponding is too hard.

ignorance only gets a company so far and the way bungie has been acting only breaking radio silence on content drops (like this week) or a 6 month sandbox update (why so long) is like a slap in the face to those who have stuck around
