You know what i noticed. Is that for the entire history of Destiny 2 they have never given us the opportunity to play elimination.
They needlessly changed Trials and then removed the game type(elimination) from the game. To say it has cost them is an understatement.
If you refuse to give us trials, can you give us elimination as a game mode. Meet the community halfway at least.
The last game mode you created was Gambit, if we have to wait for 1 year plus and what we get is a Gambit equivalent you have wasted everyone time. We are asking for something very specific. We are not asking you to re invent the wheel. The last re invented wheel the Trials of the nine was not asked for and this new one isn't either.

Just add 3v3 in general, skirmish, elimination and salvage. Bring back combined arms for 6v6 on the old maps (doesn't even need to be the new ones), add showdown to comp (its the best mode in d2 by far imo) and bring back rift. There we have diversity now.

7 RespuestasEditado por OneTrueMandalor: 2/20/2019 11:39:53 PMThey’d have to fix Crucible first before they bring Trials back, otherwise that’s an additional thing for you all to complain about. Seriously, think about it: with the bad state that Crucible is in right now, do you REALLY think bringing old Trials in is the best idea? Right at this moment?

1 RespuestaBungie is well aware of the success that Trials of Osiris delivered to Destiny 1. That game mode made them one of the top most viewed games on Twitch. Their last update states that they know how much we want it and still refuse to give it back. I'm assuming that there must be some legal ties to Activision in regards to Trials and that's why they're afraid to reintroduce it. Unfortunately, the only reason I personally purchased Destiny 2 was to play Trials again. I even purchased the expansions and annual pass thinking they'd bring it back. At this point, there's nothing for me to look forward to in the Destiny franchise. I hope they surprise me but I'll be watching from a far. Very far.

3 RespuestasNo it was a waste of dev time. It was the least played mode in D1.

4 RespuestasTrials is dead. Face it.

I only dabbled in trials and I am mostly a pve player, Even I can see that getting a working trials like we had in destiny 1 is one of the most important contents we need to keep destiny relevant. Suck it up Bungie and sort it out for your own good and help yourself to make more money from us. My opinion anyway.

1 RespuestaI really like trials and I played it alot in d1 but what I liked even more was playing the 3v3 elimination with match making during the week. Trials can be really annoying and frustrating if you don't have an awesome kdr and are trying to find people to squad up with on lfg. If they brought 3v3 trials back and allowed trials win/loss to effect comp rank and lunas progress it would be popular and bring in people that haven't earned lunas yet. Instead of being a Luna vs not forgotten war.

3 is a healthy number for intense competition in Destiny. Limits team shooting to be a risk, flanking can be possible, maps won't feel crowded, provide a lot more interesting strats with the new subclass tree (branch more like it), Exotic synergies. It will be something that people will go back to every weekend to try something new for the event.

Editado por Yu7Zi: 2/21/2019 11:26:18 AMThey said the entire PvP scene in games has changed but when has Bungie ever followed the trend. Instead of releasing a battle royale mode for Forsaken they instead released gambit. Sure it's no longer popular even with the fan base anymore but the point still stands. Trials should have stayed no matter what state it was in. As long as the rewards were worth the effort I think it would have been fine.

i mean they have this thing they've been using called LABS. put 3v3 elimination in LABS for awhile and see how much traffic it gets and how much of a response it gets from the players. they don't need to try and reinvent the wheel, especially when what they come up with is a square wheel.

1 RespuestaYou'll get it once you PAY for D3 , destiny is making D2 bad so they can make money with future releases

1 RespuestaBring back 3v3 elimination, skirmish and salvage. And 6v6 combined arms.

it needs to be better and different, so trials exclusive maps, maybe like 3 or 4 that rotate? Some sort of new mode. elimination or salvage (in a better form)--shoot maybe even something like jump pads from Borderlands prequel. Anyway that's going to take time.

16 RespuestasEditado por MrMiizii: 2/20/2019 9:31:57 PMI've always geared myself towards endgame content. Raids, trials and all difficult content. Never cared if it was pvp or pve. As long as it gave me a challenge. We got raids for endgame pve. Trials was our endgame pvp. Back in D1 my main draw was raids during the weekdays and trials on the weekend. And no comp isn't #endgame pvp. Strikes=quickplay. Nightfall=competitive. Raids=trials. Long story to a short one. I don't see much reason to grind anymore. Or play as much. if they wanna be like anthem let them. Their taking away what makes this game stand out for me.

The only thing i want is elimination 3vs3 back, when D1 died on PS3 i still played this game mode every single day, i've spent a lot of hour only playing elimination, and so many people was playing too.

maybe in D3

Bring back reading and keeping up on current events.

It doesn't fit their "goals".... but they can't tell us what their "goals" are because in all reality they don't have any "goals"... it's just a blanket statement about "goals" to make you "feel better" that they are "working" on D2 in some form of fashion with a purpose.

Yes please.
