Hi again. We have some people looking into this for you. When you select your character and then log in, could you try changing your ship to another ship, then try launching to a destination? I know this will be difficult to do...

Hi, so I managed to change my ship but I can’t select a destination and launch it. However, I practiced it blindfolded on my other account and managed to do it perfectly every time after about 20 minutes of practice which leads me to believe that the white landing arrows couldn’t be selected for some reason. Once loading in I would navigate to the director, then click A as the cursor starts on Earth, then I move the cursor to the right until I hit the adventure on the map. I toggle the adventure a few times to make sure that it is at the highest point of the adventure node while toggling it. Then I move slowly to the right, using a straight edge to keep it smooth, then I can hear the cursor touch something but nothing happens when I click it. I’ve tried this for over 2 hours with no luck, but I can do this perfectly on my other account. When I disconnected originally I was joining a friend in the blind well, so he would have been the fireteam leader. Maybe it still thinks I’m in a fireteam and so I can’t launch anything?

Thanks for getting back to me. I’ve just tried again, still stuck on a black screen. Interestingly this time I couldn’t hear any menu sounds when trying to bring them up.

Hi again. Could you try logging in again? When you log in, could you put down the controller and keep tabs of how long you're in that state? We added something that should KTO you after about 90 seconds. If you don't get KTO'd, could you keep track of how long you're in the black screen before something happens?

Hi, just tried, around 85-90 seconds the game just closed completely back to the Xbox Home screen. No error message or any other visuals.

Thanks for checking that. The team is asking if you could try logging in a few more times and waiting until you are kicked, then trying again.

Ok, so I’ve tried logging in a few times, it seems to alternate between a full-on crash to the Xbox Home Screen and the Watercress error message to the Destiny 2 starting screen.

Hey again. We've reached out to Xbox and they said you're an Xbox Insider. Can you file a bug using the "Report an Issue" about your issue? That way, we'll be able to see some additional logs.

Ok cool. Also, when signing back in, only have one controller connected to the Xbox if possible. We're seeing something about a controller 4 which is confusing.

Oh that’s odd, I only have one controller connected. Saying that I did replace my controller on the weekend so maybe that’s the issue there?

Sure thing. Thanks for the video. We figured you'd still hit the black screen, but we needed you to hit it again after we added your account to a service we have so we can look more into the issue. I've updated the people who are looking into it and I'll update you once I hear back from them.
