Okay I don’t wanna waste 10-15 minutes running a strike only to get 1-4 BLUE engrams and seriously at least make engrams come in a higher power level it makes no sense why to do strikes and all I get are some garbage blue engrams. Like after the end game all we got is he forge stikes and crucible like come on I’ve been stuck at 608 for a long time and I do a strike and all I get is some garbage gauntlet that’s 584 like come on. Who else thinks this doesn’t make sense?

Strikes aren’t as quick and easy as they were in D1, doesn’t make sense to waste time in them

9 RespuestasBased off the poll it seems to imply strikes don’t award legendary items. I play the 500 level strikes and I always get at least one legendary drop. Some times it comes from the chest and other times it will drop somewhere earlier in the strike. Also don’t forget quite a few exotic catalysts drop from strikes. My master worked Riskrunner is a godsend in Bergusia and Gofannon Forges.

BRING BACK STRIKE SPECIFIC LOOT, BRING BACK SKELETON KEYS
-
Strikes should always reward at least 1-3 legendary items. And they should all have a large chance of dropping a prime engram. Because I don't know about you, but I'm not that enthusiastic about spending 15 minutes in a strike to get 4 blue engrams and 5 vanguard tokens which I will turn in for useless loot that I won't use 98% of the time.
-
I dont usually bother tbh. It keeps them a little more engaging for when I do need to do them.
-
Strikes are pointless unless you need to get your milestones done. There's no incentive to do them, and the lack of strike specific loot(not nightfall specific)makes them even more pointless and unrewarding. The only cool reward you get is The Otherside Sparrow, but even then, it's disheartening that it's the only exotic you will ever see drop from the chest.
-
After doing all but one triumph in that section, I don’t see a reason to. Just need a relic rumble then I’ll wait till the new season
-
10-15 min?! What? More like 4-5 min
-
Just bring back strike specific loot. An armor piece for each class, a weapon, sparrow, ship, ghost, something. I liked skeleton keys, but I wouldn’t even push it if it means they would just bring back the loot.
-
I reached a point in d1 where I stopped playing strikes. I also reached a point in d2 where I stopped playing strikes. I don't even care that I'm missing the powerful engrams, they are just not my cup of tea.

1 RespuestaStrikes are low level content. You want max light gear from doing easy stuff? They are meant to help you level up from lower levels, then you will need to branch out after they stop rewarding gear. Damn, you've been stuck at 608 for a long time? You might want to watch a few level up videos. Here is a brief summary. If all your gear is even, all gear is 608, then do dreaming city and raid stuff first. then do the weekly and daily stuff. If your armor and guns are not even, you have some gear at 620 while armor is at 600, then you should do dailies first, then dreaming city and raids next. Don't forget about spider bounties and the bounty that the drifter has. Getting that 650 bow from Shaxx will help you level up very fast. So you probably want to get that first and foremost.

Editado por Soapy2k: 2/15/2019 4:58:37 PMLike the guy said below, strikes are low level content. Dunno how bad your rng is, I seem to get legendary engrams all the time. If you want to progress using strikes, DO NIGHTFALLS. When you're above 550, strikes are fun to mess around in.
-
In d1 I would run strikes a lot because of random rolls and strike exclusive gear . I’d say the biggest problem with d2 is how they gutted rng and rpg aspect of it. Our characters don’t feel as unique.
-
You really need more options so this poll doesn't seem like its blatantly trying to prove a point.
I only do them for the catalysts and milestones

I play strikes to test out new weapons and to have fun

I don't do strikes anymore
1 RespuestaWait, do people still need legendaries? Almost every powerful reward I get turns into legendary shards with the hope it'll also give an enhancement core. I really don't care about the drops, but strikes are pretty simple and once you've done them all so many times (and over and over for that fusion rifle) it gets old quick, so I choose the only no option.
-
Yes because I play them when I want to enjoy the game
-
Even if it dropped legendary gear, there'd be no point to it unless that gear was unique and interesting to obtain. D1 did it right by the skeleton key system, and strike specific loot, and the Nightfall iteration in D2 completely messed it up.
-
Editado por bevross: 2/15/2019 12:07:44 AMYeah, I play the Vanguard strikes occasionally, they're kinda fun, though I don't really need the drops. I'd play Nightfalls more if I didn't have to scrounge around for teammates (go beggin' on LFGs or something). OP -- you're only going to get 4 weekly high level, powerful drops from: the 'daily' Vanguard strike, after three with same class teammates, the Nightfall, and the Nightfall with 100k+ score.
-
They need to make otherside drop elsewhere
-
Strikes do drop purples though
-
Give us an occasional exclusive weapon drop. Or give us a damn exotic when we have to do one every day
-
In terms of payouts, absolutely not. I still run the playlist now and then and find it enjoyable enough. Keep in mind I spent the vast majority of my D1 time in strike playlists.
-
1 RespuestaThis is how I see strikes in Destiny 2. 1. New strike comes out 2. I play it exactly 3 times to get all the lore and head canon mumbo jumbo out of the way 3. I never touch it again unless it's nightfall version has something I want from it This is how I saw strikes in Destiny 1 1. New one comes out 2. Play it over and over 3. Pray that something over my light level will drop In Destiny it was very hard for solo players to reach max light without doing the raid or nightfall, and as an antisocial squeaker I didn't want to talk to people on PlayStation because I was afraid of new people. So what I did was grind the strike playlist and hope that something would drop for me, it was incredibly tedious and I'm glad we've moved passed that
-
I do the three for the week and if bounties coming up requiring a strike run through like a clan, Ada or scrapper bounty I will run a quick strike. They could do away with the subclasses having to be the same, not everyone runs the same subclass as the singe.

randoooooom

There is no incentive for me to run them. I basically am chasing Triumphs and Seals at this point. So Dreaming City, crucible, raids...that's it for me.
