The fact that you think the horrible PVP in D2Y1 was designed with PVE players in mind, when it was actually designed for streamers and PvP centered players who wanted it to become an e-sport, indicates to me that you don’t have a very good grasp of the big picture. It’s more likely just parroting what other people say.

That's very interesting. Yeah, if you want it to be like the exact "e-sport" type games then, leveling out the weapon strength makes sense.
-
It’s why we had 4v4 too.

Uhm no bud... based on my personal experience, and the experience of multiple top tier friends who left the game all saying the same thing.

Editado por TattooedOni: 2/4/2019 3:17:57 AMAnd gee all I have to do on is interviews with Bungie devs describing their intentions with D2 and what they think they did wrong, but yeah you and your friends opinion is probably right instead. What you experience doesn’t have anything to do with the game’s development or Bungies intentions. It just straight up wasn’t catering to casual players.

Editado por abyssasylum: 2/4/2019 4:14:05 AMFrankly it was not catering to anyone, because team shooting with mida multitool and Uriel’s gift over and over again was not fun. Why would Bungie want to make their game cater to casual players, or players that don’t really like pvp, or Destiny in general? If you think the devs think otherwise then you have missed something, because it is not where they have taken the game now. They did TRY to make it a primary driven team shooting type of game, but nobody liked this. They now went back to what makes playing destiny fun. Let’s hope they don’t repeat those same mistakes.

Yes everyone finds it so fun, that’s why it’s hovering around 500k per day across three platforms. You can’t buy popularity like that.

Half a million people playing a game that was released in September 2017, with the last expansion lacking luster, with plenty of competing games out there including new looter shooters and mega hits. That’s not bad at all.
-
It doesn’t count as “released in September 2017” when it gets updated every couple of months. Nice try though.
-
The base game generates much more enthusiasm than a few forges worth of added content. Yes, it was a nice try. Because I’m right. 🙂

You aren’t though, the game gets updated so it’s not the same game that was released in 2017. If it was just the base game the servers would be turned off already.
