I have never really paid much attention to competitive as I am not a big pvp player. Now I am not terrible, but I am not great either. I have been playing comp more seriously for about two weeks now and I am no closer to getting the luna's or not forgotten as when I started. The biggest hurdle being the ranks. This is partly due to the fact that every time I play a match, it is against players that have played far longer than I have and/ or are more skilled. As a result, I am loosing the majority of the matches I am playing. I have tried going in solo, as a team of 4, using excessive communication, using no communication, and the result is the same. It is disheartening to work so hard at ranking up and then to loose all of your progress and rank down over and over. A simple fix would to lock glory ranks to prevent de-ranking. It still rewards the hard work, makes the game mode more appealing, and doesn't lock out loot that people are technically paying for.
