Tell how one or all of your character(s) celebrate the Dawning. With friends, drinking, eating, walking, or etc. Just talk about what makes the holiday special for your character.

Kills a bunch of ghost, puts ‘em in a pot of boiling chocolate, add dark ether cane sugar, innovate with the time (soft ball preferable), glug down essnog (not to be confused with essnig), and shove it into the chelicerae of a Fett Eliksni.

3 RespuestasYou see, the dawning is all about giving. My exo warlock "gives" himself to other guardians because it's the only thing that makes him feel alive.
-
Drinks till he passes out
-
My guardian secretly plays D1 on a console he found in the rubble after the tower attack... ...he covers by pretending to rummage through his vault inventory...
-
My guardians are all brothers so they kinda just hang out and give gifts to each other.
-
Suffers mentally.

They grind bounties wondering what unmerciful master puts them through these repetitious tasks. They then bake and bake and bake until their arms are burned and hair singed, wishing someone would cut the strings that are pulling their every move. And just when all seems lost, they get put in a seemingly infinite black state of stasis until pulled out of it to do the same things over again the next time. Happy Dawning!

I hang at the tower throwing snowballs at guardians

Prolly listening to his favourite tracks in his Murmuration, thinking about what he should look for next. Maybe he throws some Dark Chocolate Motes for the Drifter when he walks by. He knows the dude is up to something, but ehh whatever. He likes to search ruins of old cities and finding new gear that fits into his hand like a glove, basically he likes to find his own Dawning presents. Oh also he's again, trying to make friends with the Fallen.

At the crib with the family

In my headcanon of lore, my Warlock main was the one resurrected outside the wall in D1, making his way back into the city before joining with my Titan and Hunter to form a fireteam to kill Sekris. Afterwards the three stuck together, my Warlock and Hunter eventually being the ones to uncover the Hive on Earth. It was there a monumental event happened, the two Guardians had their helmets off, and the Hunter poked a Hive egg sac which exploded gunk all over his hand. Not even thinking, Hunter just wiped it on the Warlock's face. (Warlock is an EXO, and the dried gunk is represented by green paint smeared over his face.) It was than my Warlock's obsession with the Hive began to take route. Pretty soon he discovered a Hive weapon formed into a gun that he believed spoke to him (Nechrochasm), and was exiled from the Tower for refusing to destroy the gun he was convinced had become his friend. The Nechrochasm had told him how to get past the challenges within Crota's realm, and in turn had grown stronger from killing the Monster God of Luna. The Warlock vanished into the Moon, unable to be contacted despite the Titan and Hunter's best efforts, and House of Wolves passed him by. He did reappera during Taken King, the Nechrochasm desiring to grow even stronger by killing the Taken King themself. Along with Eris's help, the trio was able to kill Oryx, though not without the Warlock becoming partially Taken, only able to hold off the effect in full thanks to willpower and Light. The Warlock than decided to become the Dreadnaught's Guardian to protect the Osmium Throne form those who would claim Oryx's crown. Rise of Iron happened, and pretty soon came the Red War. The Titan and Hunter lose their light, regain it thanks to the Shard, and travel to Titan only to discover the Warlock's Ghost (Loki) floating outside of the Dreadnaught. Last thing the Ghost remembered was losing the Light and fading out, only to wake up outside of the Dreadnaught. (Warlock, feeling what happened, used Hive magic he had learned to throw the Ghost somewhere safe before being fully Taken) The Titan and Hunter mourned what they assumed to be the Warlock's fate but soldiered on, only to discover the Taken Warlock on Io, where thanks to a hidden Shard of the traveller they were able to restore the Warlock to his semi-Taken status. I know the story isn't what you wanted, but the Dawning for this Fireteam is now a time to celebrate their time together as a little family, and to be grateful they didn't have someone to mourn during the Festival of the Lost.

1 RespuestaPlaying competitive endlessly going between brave 1 and 2.

1 RespuestaI bake like 20-30+ of the exact same cookie and force feed them to the npc in the hopes they'll give me the 3 stack bundles of Enhancement cores. :)
-
Hunter: spending time with his family. Titan:(I don't have one) Warlock:(I don't have one) Hunter 2: dead in a ditch somewhere, forgotten and unwanted, all because he was an idiot and got himself killed.

1 RespuestaEditado por Matt Boy52: 12/20/2018 2:31:30 AMI always imagine my characters as actually being a fireteam, and thus hang out together when off duty. My Hunter and Warlock are dating, and one night decide to celebrate the Dawning by going out on a nice dinner date in the Last City and explore the holiday lights around town, while talking about their strategy to beat those damn forges for Ada-1 and complete the Exotic quests. My Titan is going to throw a Dawning party in his suite at the Tower, complete with the essential baked goods that we've been making, and everyone gives presents in a "secret Santa" like way (but Rahool only gets burnt Edge Transits in his stocking).
-
My hunter has been hunting the kells scourge keeping that bay and pushing them out of the city. My warlock is currently hunting the wish dragon riven of a thousand voices. My titan well she’s uhhh idk what she’s up to
-
Editado por theluckylotad: 12/20/2018 6:55:25 PMMy titan puts up the decorations then proceeds to sleep and also forgets to take the hammer out of the fireplace
-
My warlock is slightly unnerved by my hunter’s sudden dedication to baking. My titan thinks it’s nice that she’s celebrating the holidays.
-
I celebrate by making 4 times the amount of baked goods I need in an attempt to repair a sparrow that 2/3 of the perks won’t work after next week 😐
-
6 RespuestasI celebrate by tossing snowballs at randoms at the tower. One was kind of sending me a message to please stop, but i just kept on doing it anyways, but Whether we wanted it or not, we've stepped into a war with the Cabal on Mars. So let's get to taking out their command, one by one. Valus Ta'aurc. From what I can gather, he commands the Siege Dancers from an Imperial Land Tank just outside of Rubicon. He's well protected, but with the right team, we can punch through those defenses, take this beast out, and break their grip on Freehold.
-
More like running, jumping, shooting, killing, forging news weapons and cursing for bad loot. There is only war, no celebration.
-
Collecting layers of dust as I play other games that makes my self gratification feel more rewarding
-
By turning off my Xbox and going downstairs to celebrate Christmas with my family
-
1 RespuestaThe Dawning goes against our beliefs. We celebrate Festivus.
-
My character doesn’t celebrate the dawning , he celebrates festarg for the guardians who live in the midlands
