Details make this game alive.
Edit: Guys all of you.. THANKS a lot for taking this video with positive feedback :) it means a lot to me and as of few requests, part 2 will be out somewhere in mid Jan.. so i guess be sure to sub or just be on a lookout for the video in near future <3 I love you all! thanks once again

Hi everyone, today I though I'd do smth different.. Small things like ark energy inside the weapon or lens flares from sun.. Snow particles.. and more things like that make the world of DESTINY 2 more alive.
I love this game for that and for artist who put their heart into it <3

9 RespuestasSmall things all add up to the big picture. It is what makes anything good, great. I think Destiny is great, flaws and all. I bitch about it but here I am. Ha! Speaking of small details, there is a serial number under the scope of my breakneck. It is 5021. Will people with the weapon check and see if their number is the same? It probably is but I was thinking how cool it would be if we had individually numbered guns. Like If I was the 5,021th guardian to get the gun. I think that would be kind of cool. But please check your breaknecks if you got em, and let me know please.

1 RespuestaWhile the art and music teams should be commended for their efforts, it still falls short(through no fault of their own, however) And that is because of the story. I'll bring up the game "iconoclasts" as an example. The art and sound by itself is amazing. Much like D2 there's lots of little bits going on in the background that make the world feel alive. But the story of the game combined with the art made you feel that much more involved. You can appreciate the detail so much more because of it and you just don't get that in D2. It's just a nice paint job on a car with no engine. And that doesn't seem right to me.

I used to spend ages in the Tower in Destiny just watching the birds, or looking at the blades of grass. And ever since Deej pointed it on a Twitch stream, I’d slowly walk up and down the stairs while looking down at the ground so that I can watch my Guardian take each individual step one at a time. And if anything, Destiny 2 is even better looking, Bungie has really doubled down on all the small details. I’d been thinking a lot about all the small details ever since I acquired the ‘Trust’ Hand Cannon a few weeks ago, when I’m aiming down the sights, I can see all the Solar Energy in the Cylinder, and that’s a detail that I’d never ever noticed with any other Energy weapon in Destiny 2.

2 RespuestasEver since day 1 D1 there would be many times I would stop in game play just to admire the surroundings. In the tower I would sit and look out over the city or do a 180 and look out towards the mountains. I have always enjoyed how beautiful this world has been

1 RespuestaIt should rain, or snow, or even be cloudy at RANDOM in intervals in certain locations. Windy conditions, even a sandstorm or mini dustdevil effects on Mars to throw off aim or disorient mechanics. Creating a great skybox was never their fault, or exotic design, some of the best visuals. But reskins and non interactive environment elements such as everything being a building or stone with minimal foliage is... Well...lazy. Yes there are trees in the edz and grass elements, but burned out trees and slight movement in grass is not enough. The living environment can run on it's own cycle without player interaction and put even more life into a dulled out square rock loop track.

Say what you want about aspects of gameplay, but the OP is right, this game is beautiful. My favorite is the Dreaming city.

Destiny has some of the best visuals I’ve ever seen. The weapon design, environments, the skybox...together with the music and the feel of the game it all perfectly mixes together into an amazing sci-fi universe.

Did you see the kids playing in the street just to the right of Hawthorne? Or the small cargo ships going back and forth above it?

I like the pipes on Titan you can shot and steam leaks out. That’s dedication to detail

The reflection off of the dual scope on the Queen Breakers Bow is always good to look at.

Malfeasance - that gun is beautiful, and the little arcing energy sparks are sooo cool.

I just wish it was maintained. Things like "a terrible howl rends the air" rather than an actual sound playing just pulls you out of the world real fast.

D2 looks great on PC, but tbh after playing RDR2 I can't even compare both titles, Rockstar have created a world that feels alive and full of detail, D2 plays on another league

You left out the floating glowing mushrooms in the EDZ... But really, lovely video. No one can deny that this game isnt beautiful, and the music is wonderful.

Yeah the art direction is consistently excellent and the small flourishes on some exotic weapons is classy
