Burnt Edge Transit triumph being fixed?
The Help article acknowledges there's a problem, but do we know if it is going to be fixed or not for us who were screwed out of getting it?

This triumph is BS. OF COURSE people are going to use guides. It's not cute or funny in any way that Bungie decides to play stupid mind games that basically say "F you" to people who go and read how to do something before wasting their valuable mats. This really pisses me off. I don't even think I want to bother doing any of the other triumphs now after learning about this.

I got screwed too. I thought I was ok if I didn't masterwork the oven but completed all the recipes. But now I can't craft using ingredients. It's nice that it's listed in the help article but hard to tell if it's a "Vital Information" or an "Emergent Issue"

2 RespuestasYeah I got nailed here as well. I mean, we should know by now to scour the internet and Bungie forums for known glitches before taking a single step in Destiny 2. I stupidly assumed the oven would work the same after masterworking and am now screwed. I’m a triumph chaser and this will literally bother me into eternity. So pissed right now. I left before and it looks like, instead of shitty story and lackluster gameplay, broken triumphs and reporting a bug per day will chase me away this time.

I just assumed you could still make it manually and accidentally masterworked it. Wish I knew about this sooner. But seriously, can we just get a simple work around to make it? I didn't even think the oven was account based considering it sits in your pursuits which have never been account based. I don't want to be locked out of getting a triumph just because it was an oversight.

1 RespuestaMasterworking your oven shouldn't lock off your oven on your other characters. I went by the list on my Titan and went back with my Hunter to make them only to be completely locked out. I feel this is where we're getting slighted.

Bungie please respond, why would you make something in the persuits tab, especially like this, ACCOUNT BASED?! Its supposed to be character based like literally everything else in the persuits, why tf would you lock us out of crafting manually, sure leave the other recipes there atthe bottom tab like it was, but straight up take away the ability to fcking manually craft stuff!!

The wording makes it seem intentional and a more Easter egg type triumph for doing something wrong. That’s why it has no value, just like achievements in games for dying too much or not playing the game for 2 years (yes that was an actual achievement) Not all triumphs or achievements are necessarily ones you want to complete , but it’s there if you do.

3 RespuestasFirst thing I got was burnt edge transit cookie. I tried making a random cookie when I got the oven and it was the first thing I made. Glad it's not happening to me. Also, I've been farming dawning essence on all 3 characters and making it strictly on my hunter with np. Masterworked my oven and I'm 7 cookies away from 120. Not sure how people are getting locked out because it's definitely acct oriented not character

An answer from Bungie on this matter would be great. I completed all recipes on one character and masterworked the oven. After learning of a secret triumph for the burnt edge transit, I assumed switching characters would be the solution...but how does my second character already know all the recipes the very first time it opens the oven??? Of all the things to make account based and not character based, this should not have been one of them. Learning 15 recipes per character would not have been an issue for anyone going for triumphs due to needing 120 for the sparrow. There should still be an option to combine ingredients manually, even after learning recipes.

5 RespuestasHonest question, did it not work or did you finish the oven without fvckin’ up any recipes? To me, this dictates the “need” for a “fix”. If we all just used the list that was posted without messing up that is no ones fault but ours. No “fix” needed. If the Triumph legitimately isn’t registering with the completion, this needs fixed. I ask because I fvcked up one on my own, got the Triumph NP.

I doubt they're going to let us bake them. My this time I'm sure most of the people at bungo are on 'holiday mode' so I highly doubt they're going to make this change, which is decidedly low impact in the grand scheme of things. I mean, they've taken their sweet time fixing the Corrupted eggs thing and being that this event is limited, the event will go away soon so say goodbye to the hidden triumphs. I'm also pissed but I've learnt to make my peace with this game. It's far from perfect and it will never be. And the devs don't really care at the same level most hardcore players do.

I want a hidden Triumph which triggers a cutscene where I forcefeed Rahool the Burnt Edge Transits and his eyes bulge out of his smug blue face while he chokes.
