What are augmented weapons? Got an edge transit ☹️
So I grinded some bounty things from Ada-1 to get modulus reports. Bought a ‘research weapon frame’ and did the patrols to get it going. Passed the forge and got an edge transit from this ‘research weapon frame’ that said the reward was an ‘augmented weapon’.
It doesn’t seem different to any of the other 42 million edge transits I’ve had. What is the point of these ‘augmented weapons’ from ‘research weapon frames’?
Any ideas? Doesn’t seem to count towards Ada’s weekly milestone of forging two weapons either. I’m still at zero.

I've had three of these bounties completed and others in my clan have had multiple augmented weapon bounties completed as well with only regular weapons with regular rolls. Nothing special which makes me question the need to do these blue bounties at all. I don't get it myself.

3 RespuestasIf you look at the bounties that take modulus reports. They say from where you will get a gun. I believe they have open world,vanguard,gambit, and crucible. It’s a way of trying for a weapon from that activity.

2 RespuestasThe third column has two perks instead of just one. I.E. Gambit research weapon would drop a Gambit weapon that has two barrel options, two magazine options, two perk options in the next column, and one perk in the last column vs. two barrel options, two magazine options, and then two columns with one perk each. Feels like it's allows a higher chance to get a God roll due to the third column.

Didn’t even try and reskin it ! Wow Bungie is taking sucking to a whole new level . I got some lame ass pulse I got 40 times in the last few months . If this is their big plan , they are obviously a drug addicted dilusional cult who think the leader will be angry if they do anything new or exciting .
