The thing is that the new DLC was unplayable because the light level required was too high. Eventually people would be able to play it, but it is just silly that you first have to grind for a higher light level before you can enjoy the DLC at launch. What was before reeks of artificially extending the grind.

I respect your opinion and how well stated it was. I guess I’m coming from a place where not everything is instantly available. Kind of like a tease I guess. Just like on the radio when they tease a song that’s going to be coming up or a story that it’s going to be on the news to build anticipation. But I do get what you’re saying and perhaps this adjustment they’ve made is going to be a happy medium

We don't want *everything* available. We want *something* available on day 1 of a new DLC. I mean, we are, by definition, already in the end game. We've doing end game stuff for a couple months. When they said, "New end game content" most of us didn't hear, "Get to the new end game so we can play the content", we heard, "New content to do in the end game while getting to the new PL." Two things that could have staved the complaints off - (1) Allow PL to go up when the new season started last week; and (2) This change to the first Forge PL.

Yes i think this adjustment will do just fine. I am still having fun with forsaken since I dropped in 6 weeks ago and I agree that players should work for their endgame content. But you cant start a DLC with endgame content. That is just moronic.
