Forsaken did how much for PvE again?
oh, what's that, you need to prove you're even good with a hand cannon to get Ace? Boo freaking hoo.
Hate these hyper-radical posts that think the sky is falling because the game asks you to do anything in the crucible, or that the matchmaking in the casual mode that now allows people to play how they want if they actually want to be different than others is exploiting the weaker player base because apparently being bad means you shouldn't struggle at all and should have stale even fights where you will not actually see improvement in yourself.

Most people just want to have fun dumbass. They don’t care about improving. They just want a nice fair fight and some fun when playing PvP. You’re just a fragile snowflake all too concerned about protecting stats by stomping normal players. Go play something else. Toxic trash like you isn’t needed in any community.

If you dont like the game then dont play it. Some of you people act like this GAME is important. Its just a game. I dont understand why you would invest time in somthing you dont enjoy. I dont like call of duty you dont see me in there crying because the dident make the game the way i want it. I just dont play it.

We like the game. Some of us, love this game. But are sick of Bungie ensuring that certain parts of it only cater to certain people. It should be a fun and reliable experience for all players. I don’t play PvP in this game currently because the PvP is so bad. I love the PvE currently, it’s fantastic. But whiny children in PvP love getting things nerfed. They also love pouting in a corner when they have to have fair fights in PvP. So yeah, would I like to have fun in Crucible? Absolutely. Is that currently possible? Nope. The ones who need to leave are those that think the stomp fests are good for the game somehow. If not for a heavy grind and quality PvE content the PvP in this game would be 100% dead. When PvP is being propped up by PvE content and a power grind, something is obviously wrong. But hey, like I’ve said to many, keep shouting about how right you are while your ship sinks into the depths.

I thought the whole fun of playing Crucible was about improving? It has been for me. Otherwise, what’s the point? I get the appeal of kicking back with friends and playing matches, but when you ask for dumbed-down combat it’d make you feel much less powerful. Just look at last year’s Crucible, perfect example

This is just another pitiful misunderstanding of fun. Improving is fun for some. That’s what competitive is for. The rest of us don’t care about crucible and just want an easy going experience to gain powerful loot and level quicker. If they remove powerful loot from crucible quickplay I don’t care what they do with it as I’ll never play it. It’s an awful experience in the best of times and when folks like you get their way it’s unplayable

If you quit playing the Crucible, you have nothing and no one to blame for it but yourself. I don’t care if you did or not because it’s a preference thing, but the difference between you and “folks like me” are our preferences and nothing else

I really don't care about my stats actually, nice assumptions tho. 1.3 hello, not top tier at all really. Just really good off my own merit and able to have fun because of it. Just because people are better doesn't mean you need special protection now.

Kd is irrelevant without better matchmaking. You stomp scrubs meaning your actual kd is probably more like .9. At best.

Or stay and have fun in the dead PvP that no one plays because it sucks. Eventually it will die just like Trials did because nothing but try hards will be left and then they’ll quit because they wet themselves any time they have competition.

Go play a different game. Some people want have fun you dumb -blam!-. Some people don’t care about what skill level they are. They just want a chance to enjoy the game. There is no game mode that currently allows that. Unless you’re in the top 10% the game’s PvP is absolutely awful. So just -blam!- off with your opinion and go play something that isn’t meant to be fun. Russian Roulette comes to mind, maybe you can git gud at that game?

Yeah yeah. No one wants little babies who need handed wins in quickplay to feel good about themselves. We don’t want you in our community. You’re a cancer that needs removed. The fun police of Destiny, that’s you, are completely against any skill based matchmaking that might make matches fun for most of the players. They are only concerned with their ease of victory and thus PvP in the game will die a swift death.

Im more concerned with not feeling like im required to use the same damn pulse rifle, hand cannon, and shotgun as everyone else in order to stand a chance in the casual mode.

So don’t play it. Your need for constant self validation that results in the need to play the meta is your own -blam!-ing problem. Not mine. PvP players are all the same so they all have this issue where they can’t help but play the meta because trying something new or 1% less effective and losing hurts their fragile egos so much so that they would rather ruin everyone else’s fun just to keep it in tact. Which is why we don’t want you. Go -blam!- yourself with it. It’s a YOU problem if you can’t help but run meta in quickplay. YOU. ARE. YOUR. OWN. PROBLEM.

Uh huh. Sure. That’s why you’re all in favor of skill based match making right? Since it’s just for fun and you don’t have a pathological need to win every match you play at the expense of everyone else? Seriously just give up. Quickplay is no place for stomping. It ruins the game and thus kills the game mode. No one wants to play trash Destiny PvP because it’s not fun. Who cares about balance or skill? Well, lots of people who just get curb stomped by people who only play Destiny. We need their money for Bungie to keep making content. I don’t think we are getting it next time. Destiny 3 will happen and it will be the death of Destiny. Why? Because they listen to crucible whiners and streamers and create an experience that isn’t fun for most people in PvP. But they believe streamers and top end players are what get people to play. Not fun. Just what other people say. Enough with the bullshit. Some form of matchmaking for quickplay to ensure that everyone has an enjoyable match almost every time. Otherwise this game will continue to be the worst PvP on the market. This isn’t some massive scale where you can ignore scale in a 20v20 or 32v32. No. It’s 6v6. Meaning one highly skilled player ruins the match for 11 other people who just want to have fun. But that one guy who tries hard even in quickplay ruins it for everyone. He stomps on opponents and steals potential kills from teammates. This is why no one wants these kinds of players in Destiny. They ruin the experience, for everyone around them. So since we can’t actually ban their playing the game, some form of connection AND skill based matchmaking will solve the problem. Until then, just watch Destiny die a slow death just like you watched with Trials for a year because tryhards were more interested in stacking, carrying, recovering and otherwise preventing others from enjoying the game mode because they’re dicks. So watch PvP die it’s slow death because you’re too stupid to join the rest of us in saying enough is enough and letting Bungie know this is bad for the game. But hey, ride that bomb until it explodes. Good luck with that.

Didn't the game almost die with SBMM active? Pretty sure that was the big news during seasons 2 and 3 PvP will never be in a state where everyone has a good time. Too many people are unable to deal with losing, it used to be a game problem when nothing you did mattered because your chance at winning was a coin toss, now your performance actually matters and that lets anyone who is good actually feel like they're good. If people wanted endless struggle at their skill level, they'd play something else, which is what happened during seasons 2 and 3, mid tier left, the majority of people who don't whine here and just play the damn game.

And before you start quoting numbers, just remember that Bungie had to give the game away for free just to boost player totals temporarily. When those players come in and get stomped on because they haven’t learned how to play yet do you think they’re going to stay? Nope. Are any players below the top 20% of active players going to last at all? Nope. Why? Because there’s no such thing as fun in the current crucible. Not even something that remotely resembles it. This is how the majority feels and now with extremely better options out there for PvP there is little time left.
